It was 1949 when Lamiglas set out to design a better fishing rod. In the beginning it was all about
fiberglass. Over the years, Lamiglas brought innovation after innovation to the market: reflex technology,
the lightweight revolution, co-polymer resins, high-performance graphite, multi-composite construction,
titanium sensitivity tubes and the “Si” generation — just to name a few. We’ve continuously redefined
the physics of rod design. And we’re just getting started. To every challenge, we provide an answer. And

Unfortunately, there aren’t many companies like Lamiglas left in the States…
companies that haven’t forgotten that sometimes there’s more to running a business
than just running profits through the roof. Lamiglas is a unique organization that
began over 66 years ago not far from our current location in Woodland, Washington.
With the Pacific to the west, Cascade lakes and streams to the east and the Mighty
Columbia to the south, angling opportunities abound close by. (And that’s a good
thing with all the research and development going on around here.) But, while
salmon and steelhead may be the primary focus of Northwest anglers, we’re all
worldwide anglers at Lamiglas. We’re equally excited to throw poppers off Long
Island for stripers… or flip frogs for bass on Okeechobee… or feed live bait to marlin
in Costa Rica… or troll for trout in the Great Lakes. We do it all, and our pro-staff
and professional guides are on the water every day testing and refining our rods to
match new techniques. If it swims, we build a rod to catch it.
In Memory of Dick Posey
Lamiglas, Inc. Owner/CEO/President and Sportfishing Industry icon, Richard L. Posey
“Dick”, passed away in May of 2015. He spent a highly productive 88 years living
true to his core principles of “Upward and Onward”, and “We Will Make it Work”.
Dick Posey had a profound influence on the Sportfishing Industry that spanned
more than five decades. Dick was a lifelong active member and served on the board
of the American Sportfishing Association (A.S.A.) along with countless Sportfishing
advocacy groups and organizations throughout the country. Dick believed deeply
in maintaining family values and the heritage of angling. While he likely had IGFA
records in his hands and caught countless personal trophies, you won’t see them in
the record books or mounted on his office wall. Dick cared more about the people
he employed and loved. Fishing was certainly a passion, but the people around him
were far more important to him. He’ll forever be honored by the industry he loved, and forever be missed by his family, friends,
co-workers and associates.
The Lamiglas Team is committed to continuing Dick’s Legacy. Dick’s initiatives included continued improvement in our
manufacturing processes, producing the finest quality fishing rods and blanks, servicing our clients to the highest level and
continuing our innovative and industry-leading rod and blank design. That has been the hallmark of Lamiglas for over 60 years,
and it will continue.

SALMON & STEELHEAD
Salmon and steelhead angling is about as technically-diverse as you can get. Pick any
mile-long stretch of river and there’s just cause for having a dozen different rods onboard
to fish it effectively. Hence, the reason Lamiglas crafts more technique-specific rods than
any other manufacturer. Jig, drift, back-bounce, troll, hover, back-troll, throw spinners,
boondog, side-drift, pull plugs, side plane, mooch, etcetera, etcetera, and etcetera. Yeah,
we’ve got specialized rods to do that. But we’re also realists, understanding that when
the rods in your garage start taking precedence over the food in your fridge, people will
begin to ask questions. Consider where and how you fish most often, the environment,
the gear, and the size of the fish, and we’ll deliver superior performance. Fact is, there’s
not a known technique we don’t make a rod design for.
SI STEELHEAD
The Si Series is innovative technology salmon and
steelhead anglers highly regard as the best of

delivers greater sensitivity by using advanced
resins and extremely small diameter blanks. The
Lamiglas Si series also features titanium K-frame

CERTIFIED PRO KWIK SERIES
Expect kwik results. The XCC 934
and XCC 1064’s have taken over the
professional guide community as the
ultimate trolling rods. Long, soft and
forgiving, these rods allow trolled,
back-trolled plugs and bait to produce
more action. The XCC 965 is a stout
rod for fishing heavy lead in big rivers
or the salt. The XCC 885 is the perfect
wobbler rod for fall chinook. Most
models feature our popular graphite
handles (GH) for comfort and extreme
durability. All models feature Fuji reel

focused affordability. We’ve selected deep press
chrome guides, constructed of stainless steel. The
combination of their deep pressed ring design
and finish allows these guides to hold up to the

In creating these rods, we were dead set on doing what has never been done before. These are not “new” rods with different
cosmetics. These are handmade using a completely new production technique and graphite interlace system that simply hasn’t
been technically possible until now. The mandrels used to build the blanks were custom made. Several different types of graphite
materials and resins were combined to perfect the desired actions. We’ve incorporated composite graphite handles for extreme
durability and longevity.

Okay so we’re obsessive. Instead of hugging the wife and remarking how beautiful
the sunrise is, we’re strapped in waders, gaze fixated on breaking baitfish. What lure
or bait? What size? No time for sightseeing, these opportunities only last so long.
We talk about waves, but more so about rips, eddy-lines, points, and buckets. And
