Cost–Effective, Low Pressure

Available in home and
commercial sizes T-Tape
has a 2-year-warranty, but
can last 3 or more years if installed on the surface, much longer if buried
1"–4" below the surface. This new 10 mil “TSX” T-Tape now has the
strength of 15 mil, but costs less. T-Tape has drip slits 8” apart, the slits
close when the water is off, reducing externally-caused plugging problems.
T-tape is not recommended if your water has heavy mineral deposits.
T-Tape must be used on low water pressure (2–15 PSI), achieved by installing a
pressure regulator. At 10 psi, T-Tape distributes 40 gallons per hour (GPH) per
100'. On level ground, a run should not be longer than 350'. Lines should be
spaced 9" apart for overall coverage. T-Tape needs to be kept flat, which can be
achieved with U-Shaped Ground Staples. Install T-Tape only on slopes of 3%
or less. The more level the ground and the shorter the T-Tape run, the more
even or uniform the water flow will be throughout the run.
