Norcard Fundraiser
Dragon Lake School is doing their Norcard Fundraiser
this fall to raise money for the school. It helps us to
be able to help others in many situations that arise
throughout a school year. Orders are due in on Friday,
October 17th. Some important tips:
⇒ Children in a Primary Division are requested to ask their
parents for support in fundraising
⇒ Please only sell the product to close neighbours, friends
and family members
⇒ We do not encourage students soliciting door to door for
Head Lice
Parents, please be aware that there have been
cases of head lice at our school. We ask that
you check your child at home. We also ask
that you keep your child(ren) at home until
treatment has been done. If you have
questions as to treatment, you may contact
the Health Unit at (250) 991-7571.

Information Forms
Student verification forms/internet
usage/release of information forms were
sent home a few weeks ago. If you haven’t
checked the information, signed and
returned the forms to the school, please
do so at your earliest convenience. This is
for the safety of your child(ren).
Cooler Weather
With cooler mornings we are seeing some
students not prepared for being outside.
Students are expected to wait until the bell
rings before they come in for the morning,
unless it is raining, then students are often allowed to come
in. Please ensure your child is
prepared for the days weather.

extracurricular activities are starting up
soon!
