ABOUT SHUT SKATEBOARDS
Shut Skates was the first NYC skate company and set the tone for east coast skate culture
for decades. Started by Rodney Smith and Bruno Musso as a way to define NYC skate
culture on its own terms and distinguish it from skating's California roots in 1986.
Relaunched in 2006 to critical acclaim by Zoo York founders Rodney Smith, Adam
Schatz, and Eli Morgan Gesner, SHUT continues to represent true New York City skate
culture. All SHUT skateboards are proudly manufactured in the USA out of the highest
quality materials available.
