The SunPorch shade system is the most effective type
of shading available in the industry today as it blocks the
summer sun and heat on the outside of the structure.
This unique system offers significant winter heating
savings. It also allows transmission of bright sunlight
to create a healthy environment.
Each 3' x 3' shade has a reflective aluminum surface, locked
in an aluminum frame. They hook together and slip in and

HINTS ON WHICH TO CHOOSE:
If you desire privacy (for a hot tub enclosure, for instance) the
bronze tint may be ideal. While it reduces light transmission to
about 34%, it does not affect heat transmission.
If you will be using your SunPorch for growing, or if
you desire the full therapeutic benefits of sunlight, choose
the clear glazing. Reduced light transmission will result
in malformed plants. In Northern U.S. areas, clear glazing
helps maximize periods of sunlight, especially during the
winter when it gets darker earlier.

MANUAL VENTS ARE STANDARD IN EACH SECTION OF EVERY DELUXE SUNPORCH
No other sunspace has this standard feature! To make the SunPorch truly
comfortable in warm summer months, there’s a built-in positive exhaust
system. Every “Convertible” comes with a screened vent opening in each
section, operable by pole from the inside. Since hot air rises naturally,
it’s vented right through the roof. It’s just another way the SunPorch
is engineered for your year-round enjoyment!

A long-lasting sunroom needs a substantial, long-lasting frame structure.
And for wind and snow loads, that’s what we have. The hollow extruded
beams come in your choice of Bronze or White, with a factory-baked
enamel finish, warranteed against pitting or peeling. These sturdy
beams conform to nationally recognized BOCA, ICBO,
and SBCCI codes for wind and snow loads.
FLEXIBLE FRONT OR END WALL DOOR POSITION
The large storm/screen combination door with QWIK® window panels
may be placed in any front or end wall area. We’ve also engineered the door
to give you a choice of right or left hand hinges, with an outward swing
to save space and meet Codes.
RAIN-GARD WATER DIVERTERS
These full–length, front–eave diverters move water away from front
wall areas,a nice feature when screen are in place during
the summer. They come standard with all models.
TEN YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
What is Covered
SunPorch Structures, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser that all materials manufactured by it, including roof and wall
glazing, will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of ten (10) years from
date of shipment.
SunPorch Structures will repair or replace, at its option, any part, equipment, or accessory manufactured by SunPorch
Structures, Inc., including roof and wall glazing, that is returned to our plant located at 7619 National Turnpike, Louisville, KY
40214 within ten (10) years from date of delivery together with proof of purchase. SunPorch Structures reserves the right to
determine whether or not a defect exists for which it is responsible under this warranty.
How It Operates
If any part is determined to be defective or faulty due to our workmanship or material during aforesaid 10 year period, it will
be repaired, or at our option, replaced at no cost for such part.
The purchaser shall bear the cost of returning the part, equipment, or accessory to the factory. The purchaser shall contact
the customer service department prior to the return of any items, as the company may waive the requirement of return. Upon
such waiver, the purchaser shall bear the cost of return delivery of the repaired or replaced part, equipment, or accessory
to the purchaser.
What is Not Covered
The purchaser is responsible for proper assembly and installation of the greenhouse according to our drawings,
specifications, and/or modifications. Not withstanding the foregoing warranty and remedies, we shall have no obligation if the
parts, equipment, or accessories become defective in whole or part as a result of improper assembly, installation, or
maintenance, or as a result of improper use. The warranty does not cover the replacement of parts, equipment, or accessories
because of misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, accident or damage resulting from flood, fire, or acts of God.
This warranty does not cover labor costs to install or reinstall the replaced parts, equipment, or accessories, or other costs
or expenses that might be incurred as a result of such defective parts, equipment or accessories. Nor does it cover loss of time,
inconvenience, loss of use of the greenhouse, incidental or consequential damages arising from defective parts, equipment, or
accessories, or delays of construction costs for late or damaged delivery, or other matters not specifically included.
All other parts and accessories not manufactured by SunPorch Structures, Inc., such as glazing plastics for roof and walls,
shades, blankets, fans, etc., carry their specific manufacturer’s warranty. Specific warranty information for non-SunPorch
manufactured products is available from SunPorch Structures, Inc. upon written request.
Implied Warranties
THERE ARE NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED,
DUE TO THE WIDE VARIETY OF CONDITIONS FOR WHICH THE PRODUCT MAY BE PURCHASED, INSTALLED, OR
USED. NO INDIVIDUAL, DEALER, OR CONTRACTOR IS SANCTIONED TO CREATE ANY LIABILITIES OR OBLIGATIONS

The SunPorch Structures ten (10) year limited warranty shall be governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any claim
or conflict arising out of this warranty or the purchase of goods from SunPorch Structures, Inc. shall be submitted for settlement
to the American Arbitration Association in Stamford, Connecticut. Failure to submit any claim or conflict arising out of this
warranty to arbitration, shall be a complete defense to the institution or further prosecution of any other legal proceeding.
10 YEAR LIMITED OWNERSHIP WARRANTY
Applies to every material used in the SunPorch: the heavy, rust-proof
frame, the double-pane thermal walls, the special matching bronze

THE PLANS
Although the SunPorch was designed from the very
beginning for assembly without contractors or handymen,
it does require a certain amount of do-it-yourself skills.
The plans are clear and user-friendly, and a two-person
team of moderate ability can usually assemble a SunPorch
over two or three days. However, if you’re not confident
in your skills, a small investment in experienced workmen
can insure a perfect installation.
THE TOOLS
Ready for the list? Well, here it is... in pictures. They’re all easily recognized
items, the kind most homeowners already have for simple
do-it-yourself chores around the house. And
anything you don’t have will be available at
any hardware store.
THE TIME
Exactly how long it will take kind of depends on you. Early preparation
procedures such as sorting the parts, gasketing, and the removal of
protective part covers can reduce the final assembly time dramatically.
Parts are light weight, so age or strength is not a factor. So how long?
Well, it’s likely that a 9' x 12' can be assembled over a weekend. But
whatever the time period, you’ll find it to be a labor of love, and an
extremely satisfying experience.

and answers about the SunPorch®.
1. Can I buy roof or wall glazing parts only?
THE ANSWER IS NO.
For some very good reasons. The SunPorch is engineered
to be assembled and attached as a total product. The use
of glazing on an incompatible framework system can cause
parts failure, leakage, and possible structure collapse.
So our policy is to sell the total product only.
2. What make the SunPorch so different than
other patio rooms?
The SunPorch has a full light-emitting roof structure. There
are no solid areas to darken adjacent rooms. Unlike sliders,
the wall areas are fully screened from top to bottom to
provide maximum air circulation. These, plus many other
exclusive features are not available by any other maker.
3. Can I safely mount the structure on a deck,
patio, or landscape ties?
Yes. Even in the coldest weather, the movement of our
living, breathing structure is minimal. The shatter-resistant
glazing readily accepts such movement, and our QWIK
window system is designed to maintain a tight seal throughout. Unlike glass houses, a concrete footing to the frost line,
which may be costly, is not necessary.
4. How do I attach the SunPorch to my house?
Our assembly plan carefully details the procedure.
As home surfaces vary, our engineers suggest that vertical
2 x 4’s plus a header be attached to the wall to provide a
smooth surface for our aluminum framework. You then can
add caulking or weather stripping for a snug, air-tight fit.
5. How long will my SunPorch last?
The aluminum framework and stainless steel hardware
have an obvious lifetime durability. And because we use
specially-formulated, high quality glazing resins, our glazing materials are designed to provide equally excellent
trouble-free performance for many years. In fact, our total
structure carries a limited 10 year warranty. We believe
it will last a lifetime as it is virtually indestructible, and
warranteed hailproof. It illustrates the kind of real longterm value we offer.

6. Does your sunroom pass architectural
and building codes?
Yes. The structure is made of 6063-T6 aluminum
alloy and is designed to meet or exceed BOCA, ICBO
and SBCCI Codes for Greenhouse Wind and Snow
Loads. The glazing materials, tested by the American
Society for Testing Materials (ASTM), also meet all
codes for strength and flammability. Engineering data
is available. In addition to meeting building codes, the
SunPorch meets or exceeds AAMA 101-93 tests for air
and water infiltration.
7. Are building permits necessary, and will
it be assessed?
The rules for incidental structures, like greenhouses, that
can be assembled and disassembled when you move, vary
from state to state. And often to individual communities.
Many areas have ruled that if your pad or deck is already
on an approved lot plan, further permits should not be
necessary. As we do meet building codes, it’s always best to
check with your local town hall for any required permits
and possible assessment. Engineering data is available
to assist you.
8. In selecting any sunroom, how can I be sure
that I am getting the best value for my money?
Very simply. First, determine your needs. If you desire
an addition that provides “incidental” living space, along
with gardening and/or solar heating, or a spa enclosure,
or a garden sitting/eating area, or a combination, we are
an outstanding value. If you desire “primary” living space,
construction needs to be designed to the same standards
as your home. So be prepared to spend from 3 to 5 times
the price of a SunPorch. Your needs should determine
your choice.
9. How long do I have to wait for delivery? Can I
order now and reserve delivery for a later date?
Generally speaking, most orders are shipped within 2-3
weeks. Custom structures take a bit longer. Under our
price-protection plan, a $100 deposit (fully refundable)
will hold your order for up to 90 days, or longer upon
special request.
