Scheduled Grain Plan
CN’s launched a transformational Scheduled Grain Plan for Western Canada - applies precision scheduling to grain car deliveries, setting up operating protocols so
that cars arrive at specific elevators on scheduled days every week - resulting in a
fundamental improvement in system reliability.
CN continues to innovate to better serve you, our customers.
Superior Port Access
CN’s high-capacity main line provides efficient single line access from Western Canada to key bulk export gateways, including the ports of Vancouver, Prince Rupert,
Thunder Bay, Montreal, Quebec City, Halifax, Mobile and New Orleans.
Dedicated Grain Distribution Facilities
CN CargoFlo is a network of bulk distribution terminals which transfers grain and
grain product from railcars to trucks and vice versa, as well as loads and unloads
overseas containers. CN operates grain facilities in Chicago and Chippewa Falls to
effectively serve our customers.
Processed Grain Products
Leading global agribusiness have grain and oilseed processing plants located on the
CN system in Western Canada, Eastern Canada and the US Midwest.
