BELOEIL,- PQ. e r r o r .
An unusual month e r r o r has turned up here, of 31 VI 1989 8, an impossible
date. This cover came from a l o t dated July 14 to Aug. 15, 1989, and in t h i s
case the correct date can be pinned down t o 31 VII 1989 8.
Jim Karr has sent in some reports of i n t e r e s t . Regarding the previously
reported WESTLOCK, AB e r r o r ( p . 67), Jim notes t h a t the e r r o r occurs 09 VI 199
~4 through t o 28 VI 199 ~ 4 . No Saturday o r Sunday dates were noted. The e r r o r
was corrected 29 VI 1989.2 and i s correct through July and August.
Jim a l s o reports HIGH RIVER, AB has a correct date of 26 VII 1989: and then
s t a r t s an e r r o r on the same day of 26 VI 198S0 . This continues to 31 VI
1 9 8 8 ~ 0(July 29 and 30 - Sat. and Sun. - were not seen). This was corrected as
1 VIII 1989=0 with timemark ~0 continuing. A1 so, OLDS, AB has a one-day e r r o r
of 21 VIII 1990=-2 f o r 21 VII 1989, a Friday. Sat. and Sun. July 22 and 23
dates were not seen. This e r r o r was corrected on 24 VII 1989.1 and things then
continue normally. Copies of these HIGH RIVER happenings are shown on the next
page.
Jim comments t h a t he thinks the Greig Hutton survey idea f o r discontinued
towns i s great and he i s sending Greig his reports on the survey forms from
Klussendorfer issue 5. Let's a l l send those reports in! Charts for more towns
appear next in t h i s issue ( p p . 110-117). Please 1 i s t dates, timemarks, e r r o r s ,
slogans, e t c . for these discontinued Klussendorfs. In our next issue, we'll
have the charts f o r the r e s t of the discontinued towns and specials. Again, we
ask our members t o send any reports t h a t d i f f e r from the charts or new e r r o r s
or timemarks o r dates of use or any other f a c e t of the cancels t o Greig, so the
information can a l l be entered on the master charts.
We will eventually publish the charts again, with a1 1 the additions. This
should give us a f a i r l y complete picture of a town's Klussendorf use. New
discoveries, dates, e r r o r s , and so on can then be e a s i l y added t o the charts.
Please send a1 1 reports to:
Greig Hutton

Let's get those reports in and make t h i s project a big success! ! !
