This is an exciting time to be in Maumelle! Beginning in the fall of
2014 until the summer of 2016, while Little Rock’s Robinson Center is
under renovation, Celebrity Attractions will bring Broadway plays to the
Performing Arts Center at the Maumelle High School. In addition to the
Broadway plays, the Arkansas Symphony will also hold performances in
Maumelle, along with other events such as the “Nutcracker.”
The City continues to see growth in residential development with
the construction of two additional phases of existing subdivisions. There
is also room for growth in Maumelle’s Industrial Park. There are existing
buildings with space to lease, or you can choose a green site with the
option of a “build to suit” facility.
Recognized as one of twelve volunteer communities in Arkansas nine
times in recent years, Maumelle is renowned for its volunteer spirit. If
you want to plug in or give back to the community, I encourage you to
become involved in one of the numerous civic or religious organizations
in Maumelle. It will improve the quality of your life and the life of those
that you touch.
Maumelle’s location near Little Rock and North Little Rock allows a
wide range of entertainment opportunities, such as concerts, plays, and
college and professional sporting events that will meet or exceed your
expectations. Maumelle is within thirty minutes of several prominent
hospitals that offer some of the best medical care available in the
country. The Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport is only minutes away
from Maumelle, allowing a short flight to several major airports.
