NIL NIL NIL NIL 2.9.1 The meaning of markings and signs 1. Pilot while taxiing Aircraft into a parking stand Nr.17-27 shall stop the aircraft immediately, if he see that the docking system is not switched on or is unserviceable or when it shows a different Aircraft type. 2. Aircraft type indication a. Confirm Aircraft type displayed prior to turning into stand. b. Discontinue docking when wrong Aircraft type is illuminated. (Aircraft Marshaled shall recheck system or Marshall Aircraft into stand) 3. Centerline Guidance a. Look at bottom half of housing and interpret vertical neon light as shown : RED GREEN RED GREEN Left of centerline Steer toward green GREEN Aircraft on centerline Right of centerline steer toward green b. Discontinue docking when lights go off. 4. Stopping Guidance a. Look at round incandescent lamp on top half of housing and interpret as shown : b. Discontinue docking immediately should lights go off. (Aircraft Marshaled shall Marshall Aircraft into stand) TO AVOID OVER SHOOTING : 1. When using the RLG system, pilots taxi into stand at minimum speed. 2. On seeing the round incandescent amber lights, slowdown and prepare to stop. The round incandescent amber and red lights are activated by the Aircraft as its nose-wheel passes over the induction loops at the parking stand centerline. The lights may not come on if Aircraft is not properly lined up on the centerline. Pilot should stop aircraft immediately when the red lights come on suddenly or when given the stop sign by the Aircraft Marshaled. 2.9.2 Aircraft Parking Stands and Coordinate. Aircraft parking stands Nr. 38 until 53 normally for Code b and C aircraft. However for bigger aircraft, configuration and clearance determined under supervision from Apron Movement Control (AMC) 2.9.3 Visual Docking Parking at Aircraft Stands 1. The RLG visual docking guidance system is installed at parking stand Nr. 17-27 at I GUSTI NGURAH RAI AIRPORT. 2. The system is aligned for interpretation by the pilot in the left hand seat. 3. Aircraft identification marking on Aircraft Docking Guidance System operate for bay Nr.17-27 4.Use of Aircraft ID sign, TWY guide lines and visual docking / parking guidance system of Aircraft stands. 5. Taxiing guidance signs at all intersection with TWY and RWY at all holding positions. Stop bars where appropriate. 2.9.4 Procedure for Start-Up and Pushback of Aircraft 1. Ground crew must ensure that the area behind an Aircraft is clear of vehicles, equipment and other obstruction before the start-up or pushback of Aircraft commence. 2.When the pilot is ready for start-up and pushback, he shall seek confirmation from the ground crew that there is no hazard to his Aircraft starting up. He shall then notify the Ground Movement Controller (Call Sign: NGURAH GROUND) that he is ready for pushback. On being told by NGURAH Ground that pushback is approved he shall coordinate with the ground crew for the start-up and pushback of the Aircraft. 3. The following table describes the procedure for the pushback of Aircraft from the various parking bays. When it becomes necessary to vary a procedure to expedite Aircraft movements. NGURAH Ground will issue specific instructions to the pilot. 4. All Aircraft test engine with full power shall depend on Airport Duty Officer for the position. 5. Taxi procedure follow guidance line at own discretion until holding point India. 6. All pilot shall report parking stand, aircraft registration and person on board before starting engine to Ngurah Ground. During the flight, All departing aircraft from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport experiencing communication failure shall follow procedures as follow: - Set transponder to Mode Code A/C 7600 - After take off follow the cleared SID following assigned RNAV departure and the current flight plan. - After take off, under radar vectoring follow assigned heading and last assigned level for 2 minutes or maintain MSA, then climb to Flight Plan level and intercept Flight Plan track (as amended by ATC if applicable). b. SIDs are presented in diagrammatic and textual format on a chart which comprised two main elements: - A TRANSITION route; and - A DEPARTURE route c. This ICAO altimeter setting procedures shall be used by all aircraft operating within Tarakan TMA and CTR, QNH provided in millibars, in inches available on request. 2. Transition Altitudes 11000 ft, Transition Level FL130. 2.22.2 COMMUNICATION PROCEDURES All aircraft operating within Tarakan TMA and CTR shall be equipped with radio capable of conducting and maintaining two way communication with Tarakan Approach. 2.22.3 VFR Flight 1.
