PHIL SCHNEIDER
FROM
PHIL SCHNEIDER
Friends!
I can’t wait to see you again at District Council! We have
weighty matters to discuss. We are still working on making the
tough decisions. Our culture is falling away from its biblical
foundation at an alarming rate. We need you. Let’s pray
together. Let’s seek the will of our Father!
While District Council officially “begins” on Monday morning at
10:30 am with a time of worship, we are hosting a pizza/pasta
buffet on Sunday evening for those who come early. We
proceed to business at 1 pm on Monday. To use a term
that Brother Griswold often used, we are going to have a
“family room chat.”
This will be an important Council. Will you pray? Will you pray
about a passion for the lost? Will you seek God for direction
concerning church planting? So many of you commented on
Jim Cymbala’s ministry at Council last year. This year, we will be
joined by other outstanding speakers. Brooklyn Tabernacle’s
teaching pastor, Tim Dilena, will be speaking at our ordination
service. Tim has an incredible ministry in the word of God.
Dr. Mark Rutland, one of the foremost authorities on Christian
leadership, will share in our Monday night service. We will
close out on Wednesday with another anointed speaker,
Al Toledo, pastor of Chicago Tabernacle.
We will have more than 20 breakout sessions available on
Tuesday that will inform and inspire you, including special
sessions for women in ministry! Add to that ordination service,
corporate prayer times, and endless opportunities to connect
with the District ministry family here at Lake Williamson
Christian Center, YOUR Christian retreat center. You need
to be here.
See you soon!
