WET SET
PANEL APPLICATION
®
Wet Set Panels are designed for installation into wet concrete and are engineered to be removeable
and replaceable without having to cut, remove and pour new concrete. Panels come fully assembled
with non-corrosive anchors and color matching stainless steel bolts.
Installation is quick and easy. Follow the recommended Armorcast
instructions detailed on the Wet Set Panel Installation page.

WET SET
PANEL INSTALLATION
®
Recommended Wet Set Panel
Instructions:
1. Follow all safety requirements that include but not limited
to, State, Federal and/or Local safety standards.
2. Concrete mix shall conform to all requirements as
specified by the contract document.
3. Tools required for installation are typical of those used
by concrete finishers.
4. Do not remove the anchors or bolts before placement.
Panel shall be placed in concrete with all the
hardware attached.
5. After concrete is poured the contractor shall establish
finished grade using mason line or other appropriate
methods. The polymer concrete panel shall be placed on
top of the concrete and tamped in place using installer’s
weight or concrete vibrator to facilitate placement in a low
slump concrete. Final panel elevation shall be verified.
6. Make sure the proper slope is obtained as specified in the
contract document.
7. Low slump concrete may require 25 to 50 pound weights
to weigh down panels after placement in concrete.
8. Steel edging trowel with a minimum of 1/8” radius shall be
used to edge the finished concrete around the panel.
1/2” deep groove is required.
9. Once concrete is hardened, remove weights and panel
protective cover.
10. Protect the installed tiles from pedestrian and vehicular
traffic until concrete is hardened.
Replaceable Panels
Replacement Instructions:
1. Simply unscrew bolts from panel.
2. Pry panel up and lift away.
3. Clean surface area.
4. Replace with new panel.

Surface Mount Panels are designed to retrofit existing or new construction areas that require detectable
warning surfaces mandated by ADA. Retrofit Surface Mount Panels are flexible and beveled at the edges
to conform with the concrete surface. Installation is quick and easy. Follow the recommended
Armorcast instructions detailed on the Surface Mount Panel Installation page.

PANEL INSTALLATION
®
Recommended Surface Mount Panel
Instructions:
1. Read and follow all manufacturer instructions on the
adhesive container.
2. Installation area should be dry. New poured concrete
should be cured for a minimum of 21 days.
3. Clean the desired area of all debris, oil, grease, dirt, etc..
4. Wipe down back of the detectable warning panel
to remove dirt and debris.
5. Cut nozzle tip and insert into a heavy duty or battery
operated caulking gun.
6. Apply a uniform bead ( approximately 1/4” ) of *adhesive
to scratched rib areas. Apply another bead of adhesive
on all 4 edges to properly seal panel perimeter. Remaining
adhesive may be placed on remaining scratched areas.
7. Place the detectable warning panel at the desired location
and apply pressure. Adhesive should squeeze out under
the perimeter of the panel.
8. Use putty knife and push all adhesive that was squeezed
out under the panels. Clean excess adhesive.
9. Protect the installed panel from pedestrian traffic and
vehicular traffic until adhesive is hardened.
