BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha® – Summer 2012
BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Bartlett, IL (Chicago)
In the summer of 2012, BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha® in Chicago decided to upgrade the
video broadcast system in their assembly hall to a high definition video projection system.
They were introduced to dnp by Digital Projection at InfoComm and were really impressed
with the technology of the optical screens and the ability to reproduce bright, vibrant and rich
images and videos. After the upgrade at this facility, their members were literally in awe and
asked if the projectors had been replaced with massive flat screen displays. Actually, they
had installed two dnp Supernova Screens with two Digital Projection HighLite 660 1080p
Projectors.

BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir – Summer 2013
Lilburn, GA (Atlanta)
In preparation for a 12 Day National Youth Convention, with 8,000 youths attending, the
BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha® facility in Atlanta decided to upgrade its video broadcast
system. After the success at the group’s facility in Chicago, this was a ‘no brainer’. They
installed two 16x9 dnp Supernova Infinity Screens with two Digital Projection HighLite 660
1080p projectors. The result was stunning. The people sitting in the back half of the
massive hall – which seats 3000 people - said that they could now actually see what was
being projected on the screens vividly, that it looked real and live.”

Beltsville, MD (Washington DC)
After seeing the success of the dnp Supernova Infinity Screens at the BAPS Swaminarayan
Sanstha® facilities in Chicago and Atlanta, the team in Beltsville was determined to install dnp screens in their newly renovated assembly hall. Two 16x9 dnp Supernova Infinity
Screens were installed with two Digital Projection E-Vision 8000 1080p projectors.

One of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha® newer facilities is in Knoxville. Two Supernova
Flex Classics were installed in the assembly hall there and one in the dining hall. They were
teamed up with Panasonic PT-DW730US Projectors to provide bright images even with all
the lights on.

In the summer of 2012, the Fresno CA branch of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha® upgraded to a high definition video broadcast system. This is one of their smaller facilities, and they
chose a dnp Supernova Flex Classic Screen with a BenQ SH960 5,500 Lumen Projector.
Even with all the lights on, local representatives remarked that the screen looked like a big
plasma display.
