he grand opening of Maxx Box Lippo Village took place
on March 10, 2016. Occupying 15,141 sq m of space, Maxx
Box is the early realization of the 71-hectare prestigious
mixed-use development Millenium Village – The Global Smart
City, a masterpiece development project of PT Lippo Karawaci
Tbk. The project will provide facilities such as a hotel, offices,
health facilities, shopping arcades, sports and leisure facilities,
all accommodated in a green environment. The Maxx Box
premium entertainment facilities also offer Cinemaxx Junior, a
movie destination for children. CEO of Maxx Box Lippo Village
is Brian Riady while Johanes Jany is the CEO of Lippo Malls
Indonesia. The event was attended by top officials including
Lippo Group chairman Mochtar Riady and Lippo Group
executives, retail businessmen, creative industry players
and prominent celebrities. Honored guests included, among
others, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Rizal Ramli,
Tourism Minister Arif Yahya, State-Owned Enterprises Minister
Rini Soemarno, Administrative Reforms Minister Yuddy
Chrisnandi, Industry Minister Saleh Husin, Banten Governor
Rano Karno and Regional Representatives Assembly (DPD)
chairman Irman Gusman.
