The Terre Company Of New Jersey:
The Terre Company was founded in 1925 and has been owned by
the Feury family since 1960. The company originally started as a
farm-fertilizer blending company that serviced the New Jersey
“Truck Farms” (hence the name “Garden State”) which supplied
New York with fresh vegetables and fruit. As the farms developed
into residential homes, golf courses, and sports fields, the Terre
Company adapted to the changes.
In 1979, The Terre Company moved to its current 5 acre facility located in Clifton,
New Jersey. This facility allowed the company to service its markets from an ideal
location, and provided room for the expansion of product offerings. The company then
began to provide a far more extensive line of products to accommodate a more diverse
group of customers.
In 1987, the nursery division of Terre was established, making The Terre Company
a true one stop shop for the turf and landscape market. Terre now services the golf course,
landscape, sports field, and garden center market in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut,
and Pennsylvania. Products available include grass seed, fertilizer, chemicals, plant
material, mulches, soils, and a host of miscellaneous related products

The concept that the "non-root" parts of plants take up nutrients from nutrient sprays and other applications has been shown over
a long period of time by many researchers using radioactive isotopes on all nutrients to follow their entry into the plant and
translocation throughout the plant.
All Grigg’s products contain a series of selected natural organic compounds, “Organic-facilitators,” which chelate or
complex nutrients and keep them in functional form until the plant utlizes them.
Gary’s Green 18-3-4 + Iron Designed to be foliar applied and completely absorbed while it is drying on the target plant. Gary’s

Penncross Creeping Bentgrass
Has set the bentgrass standard since 1955. It has a medium green coloration and has rapid establishment. This bent

Sandtrapper II
Was developed for those extreme, high-flashed bunkers so popular with today's top architects. In these settings,
Sandtrapper II is the best choice for top performance and complete control over washouts - even on the steepest of
slopes, while preventing sand contamination. At 16 ounces per square yard and 15mm thick this open, aggressive matrix
grabs sand particles and keeps them in place while creating a layer where water can move quickly to the drainage system
Sandtrapper GEO.
Where the prevailing concern is contamination, it provides total control at an extremely affordable cost. Since not all
course designs have steep bunker faces, Sandtrapper GEO works best when you're building or maintaining bunkers with

greater than competitive products while basic product characteristics such as thickness fall within the same parameters.
COMPRESSION RESISTANCE It has long been the philosophy of Sandtrapper product developers that the integrity of
the three dimensional matrix is the single most important performance characteristic. The lightweight fibers and binders
compress on the load of just a few inches of sand.
Without the matrix intact, sand particles cannot be constrained as well as with other Sandtrapper styles. Water dynamics
will force sand particles into an active state during rain events, increasing the occurrences of washouts. For this purpose,
