Elevator Functions Made Transparent. ThyssenKrupp Aufzüge Monitoring Informs and Perfects. ThyssenKrupp Aufzüge Monitoring provides you as plant operator with an efficient system for evaluation of the traffic capacity and control of diverse elevator functions. The system areas. Knowledge and control. The latest micro-processor technology, with softwarebased processing of all important operational data, opens up whole new range of applications. The monitoring system from ThyssenKrupp Aufzüge provides optimal information on the condition of the elevators through optical visualization of the elevator traffic. A high-quality system, which encompasses four performance categories. s Elevator monitoring. s Control of elevator functions. s Acquisition and evaluation of traffic management data. s Control of display systems, such as flat screens, for non-specific elevator data. 2 The hardware. ThyssenKrupp Aufzüge Monitoring consists of a high-performance PC with a high-resolution screen and the necessary peripherals. The interface between the elevator control and the monitoring system is handled by a CanBus-system. In the standard version up to 50 elevator installations can be connected. The software. A great deal of emphasis was placed on simplicity in respect to operation of the system. The user interfaces, built using the latest Windows technology, allows the system to be used by staff with no specialist computer skills. If required, a “HELP” feature with explanatory text can be referred to at any time. ThysssenKrupp Aufzüge Monitoring visualizes the traffic flow to provide an excellent overview. ThyssenKrupp Aufzüge Monitoring A direct connection to the control allows you to check and modify elevator functions at any time. Special travel Overload Please exit! Our TCM controls allow elevator-related information, e.g. location and direction of travel, to be displayed in the elevator car or the landings on colour screens using high-quality TFTtechnology. An enhanced configuration, using highcontrast displays with excellent viewing angle characteristics, enables additional information to be displayed via the monitoring system. For example: The monitoring system configuration The latest generation personal computer. Operating system: Windows NT 4.0, high-resolution screen, high-performance ink-jet colour printer. High process stability with ThyssenKrupp Aufzüge Monitoring. Monitoring provides reliable traffic monitoring based on a reliable data connection to the elevator system. – the last daily report. – events taking place in the building. 3 The Efficient Overview. ThyssenKrupp Aufzüge Monitoring Gives You Control. A straightforward menu-driven system based on Windows technology ensures simple operation of the monitoring system. Comprehensive elevator monitoring guarantees high availability. All critical operational statuses are displayed on-screen in an easy-to-read format. The status and fault reports for normal operations can be seen in the upper part of the elevator display. The calls and locations of the elevators are shown in real time in the lower part of the display. The following pictograms are used when displaying status and alarm indications: Direction of travel of the elevator car. Priority – the elevator travels according to internal commands; no external commands are accepted. Group alarm indications – the elevator is no longer operational. Fire service – the elevator is being used as a fireman’s elevator. Fire emergency – the elevator is being evacuated at the evacuation landing. Fault in the group function. Connection fault – there is a break in the line to the elevator control. Nudging. Emergency call – someone in the elevator car has pressed the emergency call button. “Out of Service” display – the elevator has been switched off. Special travel active. Peak traffic up. Peak traffic down. Inspection – maintenance is being performed on the elevator system. Stand-by power – the elevator is being powered by a stand-by power supply. 4 Efficient and effective control of elevator functions. Particular circumstances often require manual intervention in the control of the elevator functions. The ThyssenKrupp Aufzüge monitoring system makes such interventions no trouble at all. Special functions make operation of the system very easy. In addition, the activation and de-activation of control functions can be performed under time control. The monitoring system is configured to reflect the functions carried out by the connected elevator controllers. The monitoring system includes the following standard functions: s Switching off of control and light. s Commencing a special travel. s Blocking of landings. s Remove elevator from the group. s Activation of peak traffic operation. Further functions can be added if required. 5 Information Source for Higher Productivity. Collection and Acquisition of Precise Traffic Flow Data. Advanced data management for optimum elevator usage. Per group: s Number of external calls for each direction and floor. s Number of external calls per hour for each direction and floor. s Average/maximum wait time for each direction and floor. s Figure indicating what percentage of the calls are processed within certain times (divided into ten second steps). Per elevator: s Number of trips, operating hours and downtime. s Special travel calls and internal commands. s Logging of operational messages and alarm signals.
