All dogs entered in the Bred by Exhibitor Class must be individually registered with the AKC. The person handling the dog must be a breeder of record of the dog and an owner of record of the dog. To exhibit in this class, family members must be a breeder and owner of record. •

NON‐REGULAR CLASSES INVOLVING SINGLE DOG ENTRIES Veterans Classes – Class for dogs and class for bitches 7 years and over. Veterans Note: 1st place winners of Veteran Dog & Veteran Bitch classes are eligible to com‐
pete for Best of Breed if undefeated in any other classes at this show. Neutered Dogs and Spayed Bitches may be entered. Entry fee $24.00 as first entry and $24.00 as an additional entry. Awards of Merit The Judge may, at his discretion, recall into the ring up to four dogs/bitches to receive Judge’s Select Rosettes. 6

NON‐REGULAR CLASSES INVOLVING SINGLE DOG ENTRIES Stud Dog Class – Class for Stud Dogs and no less than two and no more than four of their Get. Stud Dogs must be entered in the Stud Dog Class and must be shown in the ring with their Get. Owner of Stud Dog need not necessarily be owner of the Get. Entry only to be judged based on the merits of the Get. While the merits of the Stud Dog are not to be considered in the place‐
ment of the entry, the Stud Dog must be examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under the Dog Show Rules, AKC policy or the Standard for its breed. Get MUST be entered in one of the Regular Classes or Best of Breed Competition. Entry fee is $35.00 if the Stud Dog is not entered in another class, or $30.00 as an additional class. Notation must be made on entry form. Brood Bitch Class – Same as for Stud Dog except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for Get. As the judge’s decision in the Stud Dog and Brood Bitch Classes will be based on the merits of more than one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches judged first in the class will be eligible for Best of Breed or Variety by virtue of having won this class. Brace Class (two dogs of the same breed and must have at least one common owner and pre‐
sented by a maximum of two handlers.) – Will require a fee of $35.00 for the Brace Class as a first entry (Unit) and $30.00 as an additional entry (Unit). The dogs comprising a Brace MUST be named at time of entry. If a dog, which is part of a Brace, is not entered in another class, it must be entered for “Brace Class Only”. In making entries for “Brace Class Only”, full particulars must be given for each dog on individual regular entry forms. An entry form for a dog entered in an‐
other class and entered as part of a Brace MUST be marked accordingly in the space provided for Additional Classes, “Brace Class”. If more than one Brace is entered by the same owner, the dogs comprising EACH Brace must be so designated, “Brace No. 1”, “Brace No. 2”, etc. PUPPY SWEEPSTAKES ‐ Midwest Regional 1, Midwest Regional 2, & National The Sweepstakes is open to all Giant Schnauzers who are 6 months and under 18 months of age on the day of the show. All Giant Schnauzers entered in Sweepstakes must be entered in a Regular Class at the regular entry class fee. Indicate “Sweepstakes” and age division on the regular entry form, under Additional Classes. AKC champions of record are not eligible to compete. Entries must be exhibited by the owner, a member of the owner’s immediate household, the Breeder of the Stud Dog owner. No one may exhibit in this class unless they satisfy the foregoing re‐
quirement. Please note: the above rule is applicable for any dog returning to the ring for Best of Sweeps. The classes will be divided by Age and Sex, and winners will compete for Best in Sweepstakes and Best of Opposite Sex to Best in Sweepstakes. This will be presented by Steve Fox and will be the same

judges as well as learn a little about our breed.

RV Parking Reservations
IMPORTANT NOTICE
We have a limited number of Over Night Parking spaces available from Monday, September 22nd, through Sunday, September 28th.
Each Site has 50, 30, and 110 amp electrical and limited number include waterhook-ups.
Reservations will be accepted on a first come-first serve basis. The show committee will assign parking spaces.
The club will schedule septic service to empty tanks on two different days
throughout the week (days/price of service TBD).
Club members will not be allowed to park and groom in RV locations unless
they have paid for the space.
Club members will be allowed to purchase a RV spot for regular vehicle parking and grooming.

If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the event service fee will be collected on additional entries as well. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2). For Rally entries, an AKC Recording fee of $3.00 will be required (Rally Regulations, Chapter 1, Section 3). RETURNED CHECKS / INVALID CREDIT CARDS do not constitute a valid entry. The Show Secretary will add a collection fee of $25 to the amount of each returned check and credit card. Subsequent returned checks and credit card from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a cash‐only basis. Entry Fee will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or judge, or barred from competition by action of the Show Commit‐
tee. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian’s recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases and have appropri‐
ate vaccinations. No entry fees will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, extreme and or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God, public emergency, act of public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the Club or the Show Secretary. No Refund for Duplicate Entries. Every effort to find all duplicate entries will be made; however, if entry has been processed, no refund will be made. THIS CLUB DOES NOT AGREE TO ARBITRATE CLAIMS AS SET FORTH ON THE OFFICIAL AKC ENTRY FORM FOR THESE EVENTS. Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. Dogs allowed in rings during judging only. Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor the show secretary will be re‐
sponsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up the class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. Attention Exhibitors Grooming will be conducted in the designated grooming areas only. Please clean up after yourself and your dog(s). All crates must be stacked in the grooming areas. No crates, grooming tables, or ringside tables will be permitted in the Ballroom during judging. They may be permitted in the Ringside Holding area, space permitting. Exercise Pens will be permitted in designated areas only. Exercise areas will be clearly marked and ENFORCED. PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG. Dogs entered at these events MUST have rabies and shot records available. All trophies not claimed on each day of the shows becomes the property of the Giant Schnauzer Club of America. None will be mailed. No dogs permitted in public restrooms. No space for unentered dogs. An Event Committee Hearing will result from a violation of Hotel Rules or any damage to Hotel/Motel rooms, grounds or premises. The show giving club, the show secretary, the hotel, their agents, employees, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by exhibitors or handlers to any of their dogs or property, and further assume no responsibility for injury to children. HOW TO USE THE ENTRY BLANK Use one entry blank per dog only if information is exactly the SAME for each day. Carefully check the block(s) for each show in which you wish to enter your dog. AGREEMENT
I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall
deem sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the
opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the
event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and
the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and
any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event,
harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to
any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance
thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree
to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog. Additionally, I
(we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned
parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by
law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time

INSTRUCTIONS
1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate
the particular variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not
exceeding 13 in., over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies
(rough, smooth), Bull Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat,
long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard).
2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are
Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owners’ records, have completed the requirements for
a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best
of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the
requirements for a championship.
3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your
dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you
are entering your dog, i.e, age division, color division, weight division.
4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event
closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner
in any event for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has
received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on entry form whether
transfer application has been mailed to the AKC. (For complete rules, refer to Chapter 11, Section 3.)
