Sun Peaks is Canada’s third largest ski resort and offers perfect skiing combined with
warm hospitality. The picturesque resort with a pedestrian centre and ski in/ski out
accommodation is surrounded by three ski mountains: Mount Tod, Morrisey and
Sundance.
Situated in the interior of British Columbia, the resort is protected from the mild coastal
weather and boasts very dry, easy to ski powder. The mountains, accessible by high speed
ski lifts, offer runs for every level of skiing ability. Skiers are able to choose between easy,
groomed runs, intermediate terrain and open bowls for experts. If you wish, locals will
show you their favourite runs on a complimentary daily ski tour. If you are lucky this local
could be ski legend Nancy Greene, 1968 Olympics gold medallist in downhill skiing.
The variety of terrain, the relaxed atmosphere and the layout of the village make the
resort perfect for families. While the parents are out enjoying the snow, they can leave
their kids at the Sundance Kids Centre or, once they are older, they can enrol in the ski
and snowboard school. Even when you are not skiing there are plenty of things to do in
the village and its surroundings. Go snowshoeing, dogsledding or enjoy a snowmobile
tour. Dining options are available for every budget, bars and a nightclub invite you for
evening entertainment.
Getting to Sun Peaks
Situated in the interior of British Columbia, Sun Peaks is easily accessible. The most
convenient way is to fly from Calgary, Toronto or Vancouver to Kamloops and take the 45
minute transfer to the resort.

Big White or Silver Star, Kelowna is your best option as a gateway. There are flights from
various cities in Canada as well as from Los Angeles. The transfer time from Kelowna
airport to Sun Peaks is three hours.
Even driving from Vancouver is possible, it is only a 4.30 hour drive from the resort.

Return transfers from Vancouver Airport or downtown hotel
Your six day winter adventure begins with your transfer from Vancouver to your
accommodation in Whistler.
The following day is yours to explore the resort. In the evening enjoy a sleigh ride under
the stars from underneath the blankets of your canopied sleigh. On the tour you will
make a stop at a cozy cabin to warm up with hot chocolate by the fire.
Begin the following day with a snowmobile tour into the depths of the valley nestled
between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountain. This ride for families and first timers follows
wide mountain trails and includes a perfect mix of easy riding and spectacular scenery.
On day 4 step into a dog sled behind a team of energetic and lovable huskies. Experience
the tranquility and beauty of the Soo Valley as you glide through an old growth forest
alongside the frozen Soo River. This afternoon ride the gondola up Whistler Mountain
and strap on your snowshoes for a trip through Whistler’s most pristine old growth forest.
After all the adventures of the last days day 5 is free to relax and make more discoveries
on your own before your transfer takes you back to Vancouver the next day.
