SPORT AND CULTURE, LEISURE AND LANGUAGES … …in the best location, in the best hands. ALBATROSS GOLF & SPORTS S.L. C/ Mochuelo nº 6 El Puerto de Santa María 11500 Cádiz SPAIN www.albatrossgolfcamp.com [email protected] ALBATROSS GOLF CAMP The best camp for your child, the best place to learn to play golf and to speak languages: The best facilities: all our camp and course facilities are located on the golf course resort itself. We have well-regarded teachers to guarantee the quality of our coaching. All of our staff members are there for the children whenever they are needed. Integrated language learning throughout the whole camp. All the activities are dynamic and taught in the chosen language for the children’s comprehension and learning thanks to the training of our teachers and instructors. Thanks to its climate and excellent services, Spain is the second world golf tourist destination. Andalusia is Europe’s leading golf destination due to the quality of its courses in exceptional locations, with beautiful scenery or near to stunning beaches. ALBATROSS GOLF & SPORTS S.L. is a company located in El Puerto de Santa María, in the Bay of Cadiz. The company specialises in providing quality sports and languages courses, and culture and leisure activities in Andalusia, in the South of Spain, supported by a team of well-regarded professionals. The Bay of Cádiz boasts an excellent location in the South of Spain. Its climate, with an average temperature of 18.2º C and over 3,000 hours of sunshine per year give the coastline its name: Coast of Light (Costa de la Luz). The climate is typically Mediterranean with Atlantic influences, characterised by mild temperatures and lack of rain. The summers are long and warm, with pleasant temperatures that do not usually rise above 32º C due to the influence of the sea. The winters are usually mild and wet. Andalusia is one of the hottest regions in the whole of Europe. If there is one distinguishing feature of Andalusian charm it is its luminosity, which it owes to the numerous hours of sunshine, to which the happy and hospitable nature of the locals is attributed. The proximity to Jerez airport, as well as Seville, Malaga, Gibraltar and Faro airports ensures guests can reach us easily. Thanks to its climate and excellent services, Spain is the second world golf tourist destination, with Andalusia at the head, host in 1997 of the Ryder Cup at Valderrama Golf Club (Cadiz), captained by Severiano Ballesteros. Andalusia is Europe’s leading golf destination due to the quality of its courses in exceptional locations, with beautiful scenery or near to stunning beaches. Thanks to the method used by the teachers and instructors at Albatross Golf Camp, we make learning golf and the language chosen dynamic and fun for our students. Thanks to our team (instructors, teachers and directors) the children will easily cope with the 2-3 first days of integration into the camps and adaptation to the methods used in them. Your child will be supervised at all times during this camp within a family environment in small groups. Marta Prieto, Golf Instructor and player of the Ladies European Tour (LET) coordinates the whole golf programme at our camps and courses. Marta was champion of the British Amateur Open in 2001 and has been playing in the Ladies European Tour for eight years, having been in the top ten on 18 occasions.Marta designs all our technical golf courses, as well as teaching the instructors responsible for each camp/course her methodology so that the courses are perfectly delivered. The language classes at our camps, both Spanish and English, will be integrated, interactive and dynamic, taught by bilingual teachers. We also offer the chance for the children to improve their knowledge of other languages such as French, German or Chinese. Spanish, with 450 million speakers, is the third most spoken language in the world, after English and Chinese. It is the second most used language in internet communication, after English. Spanish is the second foreign language in Europe, after English. Spanish or Castilian, as well as being one of the most widely spoken languages on the planet, is one of the most important in terms of international communication. It is an essential vehicle for cultural, social and commercial exchange in a large part of the world. It is even one of the five official languages of the United Nations (UN), as well as other international bodies such UNESCO and the European Union. The level of loyalty and general satisfaction of tourists who visit Spain is high due, in particular, to the natural beauty of the surroundings in the chosen destination, the comfort of the accommodation, the cuisine on offer, the care and service received. Albatross Golf Camp is designed with every last detail in mind so that your child improve their sports and languages, at the same time as having fun, learning to interact with others, sharing activities, gaining independence and, above all, enjoying new, unforgettable and enriching experiences. Furthermore, the camps also free the parents of the numerous daily obligations they have with their children and allow them a few days of respite. Spending a few days apart is also beneficial for the parent-child relationship. The children learn to place greater value on what they have (in every sense) and the parents can rest and recharge their batteries. 2 www.albatrossgolfcamp.com [email protected] FACILITIES All our camp and course facilities are located on the golf course resort itself.
