school year!
In classrooms and on stage,
our science labs, our students
develop a love for learning, excel
academically, are inspired to
realize their dreams, and become
engaged citizens with a global
understanding.
These words from the District’s
mission statement provide a
backdrop for the photos and
activities in this year’s Academic
Year Calendar.
Please join us this year to support
our students and families at
school events, celebrations, and
activities!

State law mandates that all children are required to
participate in Early Childhood Screening for entrance
to kindergarten. This screening ensures that all
young children in Minnesota are well equipped and
ready for learning and that families can be aware
of resources in the school and the community. The

children between the ages of 3½ and 5 years of age
at no cost (one time only). Children only need to be
screened once.
