We do more than make just pickups. Below are a couple of bridges that we offer. Builders love
them in both the nickel plated and raw stainless versions. The stainless looks great in new builds
as well as relic'ed guitars!
Here is a bridge assembly that we produce especially for our Twangbucker pickup.
At the top of this email is a retail price list attachment. Please browse the
list, to get some ideas for possible pickups to select! Now is an excellent
time to order because we will soon be implementing a long over due
price increase!!
Here is a partial list of builders that are using Rio Grande Pickups &
Bridges in their guitars.
We have a lot of experience as builders in both production and hand built environments, so don't
hesitate to use us as a resource!
Anyway, thank you for taking the time to consider using the Rio Grande line of pickups. We have
been rewinding and building pickups since 1978. Founder Bart Wittrock has been an active player
in the vintage guitar market since the early seventies. This first hand exposure to literally
thousands of vintage guitars has given Bart the unique advantage of knowing how great guitar
pickups are supposed to sound. With this knowledge base Rio Grande has steadily grown to a
company that offers around 100 different pickup models.
The line has all the classics like our Vintage Tallboy Strat pickups, Vintage Tallboy Tele Classic
Neck, and our most popular humbucker the Barbeque Bucker. A classic 50’s style humbucker that
gets that creamy sound with a few more ponies and muscle under the hood. Given our love for the
classics we also have a well rounded stable of P90’s which include the popular Bastard and Fat
Bastard models. From Soapbars to Dawgears Rio Grande has you covered.
We have been around for more than 20 years and we are not going anywhere. We have 10’s of
thousands of satisfied users and so can you when you partner with us. Rio Grande invented the
concept of “Dual Calibrated Strat Sets” and are famous for our “TruSplitting” humbuckers. In
addition to electric guitar, and bass pickups, we have an in hole acoustic guitar pickup named the
Bone made from a variety of domestic and exotic hardwoods. For the players that want to “dress
up” their instruments custom pickups can be built in pearloids, tortoise, and various sparkle
colors.
Whether the gig is Rockabilly, Rock, Metal, Jazz, Fusion, Blues, or the next undefined genre, you
are sure to find a pickup that captures the sound of your customer’s imagination.
