Biafine cream was immediately applied over the entire treatment area.
Patient was instructed to apply Biafine for the next 2-3 days followed by
applying Vaseline for 5-7 days until flaking/peeling phase ends. After the
flaking/peeling phase is over, the patient was instructed to apply Trialone
(steroidal) cream twice a day for 7-10 days (to reduce redness).
Simultaneously, the patient was instructed to take 500mg Zeforal oral
antibiotic (pills) and 400mg Zovirax oral anti-herpes (pills) twice a day
for 1 week.
Cover treatment area with EMLA 18% for 20 min.
Blocking by injections of lidocaine 2% + adrenaline in the infra-orbital,
peri-orbital, temporal and mental nerves (2 injections in each side, total
of 8 injections).
Clean treatment area with 70% Alcohol. Wipe treatment area with dry
gauze pads.
