Our goal is to continue what we have become known for - to provide comfort and support in a safe shelter. The women and children who arrive at our Shelter have needs as varied as their circumstances. We offer them a warm bed, food, comfort and security as well as the opportunity for them to become survivors of domestic violence. Community support ensures the Domestic Violence Shelter can continue to meet the needs of women and children seeking a safe haven from domestic abuse. It is rarely by choice that women find themselves residing at our shelter. For information on how you can support the Domestic Violence Shelter, contact Gina at 319.753.6734. ext. 115 or [email protected] 33 SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SHELTER Have your next birthday party at the Y.
