Rotorseals are designed and built for long service and have proven their reliability in a variety of severe
applications. Some of the design features that help ensure long, trouble-free performance on all types of
machinery requiring efficient transfer of air, hydraulic fluid or oil and gases
to rotating assemblies are:
• Ball bearing design combines rigidity and low friction
• Low internal friction for cool operation, even at high speeds
• Low turning torque because of ball bearing design & precision lapping
of mating seal surfaces
• Non-metallic sealing ring held against the rotorseal shaft by spring
pressure provides positive protection against leakgae and compensates
for wear
