Steiger 255 Deep V Miami
The Steiger 255 Miami has it all...speed, maneuverability,
a gigantic cockpit with an 8’-6” beam, classic Down East
styling, and a quality Deep-V hull (21-Degree deadrise)
that has proven itself in the roughest conditions found in
the Northeast.
The 255’s Pilot House offers protection from the elements, while large front and side opening windows assure plenty of air flow, even on the hottest days.
Powered by a single 250 HP 4- stroke outboard, the 255
offers a top speed of over 47 MPH, and at a comfortable
24 MPH cruse, burns only 8.7 GPH, for a very economical 2.79 miles per gallon. With a standard 150 gallon
tank, the 255 Miami has over a 400 mile range.
The 255 Miami’s hull is all hand laid fiberglass, built
around an indestructible “I-Beam” grid system that offers
durability and a ridged core that reduces flex even under
the roughest conditions. (We have a lifetime Hull Guarantee).
The 255 Miami is the only 25 foot pilot house boat being
built in America today that is legally trailerable,
giving owners the freedom of easily transporting
their boat to where the “action” is.
Additionally, all hardware and mechanical systems are
carefully selected for long, trouble–free performance for
the life of your boat.
The 255 Steiger is a great family boat, assuring comfort
and safety. But, the 255 Miami really shines as a fishing
boat. Nimble enough for shallow back bay casting...and
plenty tough to venture out offshore as well. A 40 gallon
live well runs the entire length of the transom, while two
in-deck fish/bait wells assure that the deck will be clear
while underway.
The 255 Miami features a roomy cabin with manual
porcelain head, V-birth for two persons and 3 opening portholes for cross ventilation. The helm area offers a premium captains chair, trim tabs and generous
mounting space for multiple electronics installations. All
gauges and electronic panels are ergonomically laid out
for optimum usability.
The Steiger 255 Miami combines rugged off-shore performance with classic Down East Pilot
House styling. This big 25 footer, with 8’-6” beam measures 31 feet overall--from outboard to
bow pulpit. At Steiger, we’ve found that most of our customers are second or third time boat
