Sunlight ‘exposes’ the paper and is then ‘processed’ with water. Whatever your object covers results in white tones and whatever is exposed to sun/UV rays results in blue tones. Over the years we were privileged to have been personal jewelers to the SudbBerry Bear and Sudbrina our city’s mascots. The festival has, time and again, provided free or inexpensive events for the entire family to enjoy. The festival is an affordable, non commercialized community event perfect for everyone from baby to Grandma. It’s a chance for the city to provide Sudburians an event for all to participate in. Hopefully the new market, our downtown restaurants, the arena and the numerous other city venues host and promote the festival for years to come. Kudos to our City for giving back to the community every year and hats off to Downtown Sudbury for pulling it off with their limited resources. 31st Annual Sudbury Blueberry Festival du bleuet Media Release For Immediate Release... 31st Annual Blueberry Festival comes to Artists on Elgin July 17th to July 24th, 2016 www.blueberryfestival.ca Proud Sponsors: SUDBURY, ON – July 7th, 2016 – Artists on Elgin invites you to celebrate the bounty of blueberries in Sudbury this July. Featured all weekend at this year’s Show is a certified gemologist from the Canadian Gemological Association (Toronto, ON) who will be providing free identification of gemstones whether they are loose gems or set in jewellery. This is everyone’s opportunity to determine whether they have a real gemstone or a piece of glass. The annual Sudbury Gem and Mineral Show has something for everyone in the family. Some visitors call this Show ‘Christmas in July’. - 30 For more information please contact: Ed Debicki Show Chairman - 34th Annual Sudbury Gem and Mineral Show 629 Ester Street, Sudbury, ON P3E 5C6 Tel: 705-522-5140 (Home) 705-670-5643 (Work) Cell: 705-6917897 E-mail: ed.debicki@ sympatico.ca (Home) Show Website: www. ccfms.ca/clubs/Sudbury/ show.htm 31st Annual Sudbury Blueberry Festival du bleuet July 17th to July 24th, 2016 www.blueberryfestival.ca Proud Sponsors: Sudbury Blueberry Festival du bleuet Sponsored by Ambrosia Jewellers *** Must be 18 years of age to participate Festival Kick-Off Sunday July 17th William Bell Gazebo 7:00pm - 8:30pm Blueberry Bash Lion’s Club Pancake Breakfast Live Music, Free Children’s Activites Saturday July 23rd The Market 8:00am - 2:00pm Closing Ceremonies Sunday July 24th William Bell Gazebo 7:00pm - 8:30pm Media Release For Immediate Release... Desjardins is very proud to be the title sponsor for the Desjardins Live Butterfly Release this year” says Sophie Gingras, Communications and Public Affairs Agent at Desjardins. “Butterflies can be purchased at any Desjardins location in the Greater Sudbury area and we also accept donations if people wish to simply donate to the Hospice”. “This event is a unique opportunity to remember loved ones by releasing a butterfly in their memory or honour, regardless of whether they have a connection to the Hospice or not. The butterfly was chosen by the Hospice as it is symbolic of the beauty of nature, transformation, and new beginnings,” shared Yolanda Thibeault, Executive Director of the Sudbury Hospice Foundation. “For those who cannot attend on July 17th, they can still purchase a butterfly as a donation. The names of all loved ones will be read at the event.” The butterfly release has raised approximately $67,000 over the past four years. In addition to all Desjardins branches in Greater Sudbury, butterflies can also be purchased at Maison Vale Hospice, Lougheed Family & Staff, and Cooperative Funeral Home, as well as online at www.sudbury.com for only $30 each. All funds will benefit the programs and services of Maison Vale Hospice. 31st Annual Sudbury Blueberry Festival du bleuet July 17th to July 24th, 2016 Media Release For Immediate Release...
