History:
Tokaido was foanded in 1956 in Japan. While karate based first on the Ryükyu Islands in Japan spread all over the world, Tokaido was the
first manufacturer of suits designed for karate. Previously it has been practiced mostly in work clothes or judo suits.
Quality from tradition - since 1956
Our products benefit from the decades of experience and provide a standard against which other
brands still need to be measured. All gis were developed in collaboration with active and experienced
karateka and are handmade. The use of new production technologies, materials and science, allowed
us to improve our products and better adapt to the needs of our customers.

Karategi KATA MASTER
The Kumite Master is made out of a
cotton and polyester and is light as
a feather. Additionally it dries very
quickly because of our new weaving Ultimate Dry. The uniform has
a Kumite cut and is approved by
the WKF, among other reasons that
makes him very popular especially
among top athletes.
The Kata Master karate gi is a high
quality premium product developed
especially for Kata. The uniform is
approved by the WKF and features
very short sleeves and trousers.
