busiest ports in the Caribbean. To add to the flavor, guests will listen to the sounds of tropical music playing in the background and our wonderful interactive characters will mix
and mingle for 4 hour. As guests move around the cocktail reception, they will watch Cuban artisans and a cigar rolling demonstration. ENTER THE TROPICANA with the
assistance of, Décor with Grandeur decorating expertise, we will take you to a recreated Tropicana Nightclub complete with a Latin Big Band featuring an elegant band leader
and fantastic floor shows. Guests will listen to the wonderful sounds Cimarron: 10 piece Salsa/Latin Jazz/Top 40's band – and Luis Mario Ochoa Quintet featuring Hilario Duran .
These very talented groups are led Luis Mario Ochoa. For this special evening he will bring together his expanded musical groups that include authentic dancers for the floor
show. Decor in the Captain Matthew Flinders will be reminiscent of the Tropicana, Havana’s nightclub in the late 1950's and early 1960's. When dinner is completed, the floor
show will feature authentic Latin entertainment including a variety of dancers – you will marvel at the rumba, tango, zapateo and of course the conga. After the floor show, our
interactive showgirl dancers will make sure guests are dancing to the wonderful Latin beat. Our cigar girl will distribute cigars to guests in the Cordial and Cigar Bar. You will also
enjoy a casino that will include blackjack, roulette and baccarat.. Enjoy the evening with the sounds of Cuban accomplished and recording artist Luis Mario Ochoa together with
Juno Award Winner the famous Cuban Pianist Hilario Duran. Apart from his productive composing for famous tv series such as Traders, , Brave New Girl, and Bailey’s Billions, a
Canadian production, as well as in the TV series The Associates arranging, performing schedule, Luis Mario also teaches at the renowned Humber College Institute, where he
conducts a Latin Jazz combo and the Humber Latin Big Band. Hilario Durán is ranked among the greats, as one of the most important contemporary Cuban pianists and arrangers
today. His Latin Jazz Big Band album, “From The Heart”, featuring Paquito D’Rivera, was nominated for a Grammy in 2007, and won a Contemporary Jazz Album of the Year Juno
Award. He has collected three Juno awards (his second on the day he became a Canadian citizen) and over a dozen National Jazz Awards. Hilario was also honoured with the
prestigious Chico O’Farrill life time achievement award in Miami
