AMERICAN SUBSTANCE
The soul of the machine, the massive flywheels at the vertical and horizontal perpendicular axis, is housed within a shrine specified and
carved from the finest materials for the purpose, crafted to preserve this most vital life force in its most desirable state, permanently.
This soul, no bigger than a couple of salad plates, accounts for over 10% of the weight of the entire machine. Under all foreseeable owner
intentions and circumstances, front and rear axles maintain perfect parallelism relative to each other and perfect perpendicularity relative
to the centre of the motorcycle, accomplished using the most transparent and minimalist approach, paying homage to the singularity of
line designed into all the greatest American drag race motorcycles that have come before.

THE AMERICAN WAY
Fierce individualism mandates the toughest fight you will ever fight and must keep
fighting, the fight to be no one but yourself. The American Way declares this internal
and external war against materialism. Toughness is key.
“I DREAM OF THINGS THAT NEVER
WERE, AND ASK WHY NOT?”
ROBERT F. KENNEDY
NON-MATERIALISM
Non-materialism is the cornerstone of the American Way culture and society.
The liberation of the ‘actual you’ mandates contempt for personal ingratiation.
This liberation bestows supreme confidence upon us, unlocking exceptionalism,
which we are determined to nurture. Noise free leanness is implied.
ANTI-SCALE
Scale organically attacks the unique and the colloquial, robbing personality and
colour, which are only derived from the bottom-up. Those positioned to assume
top-down command and control are subject to irresistible forces and temptations.
The resolution to this complication is small private ownership of the means of
production. For the small to defeat the large, there must exist speed.
R131 FIGHTER
R135 WRAITH
What does pure rebellion look and ride like?
A Hellcat owner once shared that, “it’s like riding a rhino.”
To this most ingenious turn of phrase we add, “trained as a ballerina.”
The X132 Hellcat is the latest in what the company calls its line of "heirloom" creations, and the bike boasts a billet aluminium engine case machined from two chunks of
6061 aircraft-grade aluminium. The X132 Hellcat is a purebred. The X132 Hellcat makes use of a raft of high-end components right down to its stainless steel nuts and bolts.
The character and personality of each Confederate is brought to life with intense vividity. The design and creation of each machine is predicated upon uncompromised
idealological and philosophical conceptual truths. Confederate is firmly grounded on the concept of principled objective individualism.
TOUGH
With the X132 Hellcat, we set out to build the toughest motorcycle ever made. This mandated absolute chassis and powertrain
rigidity along with maximum resistance to core fatigue. To do this, we developed a new unitized powertrain casing, which is
precision carved from a 400 pound block of 6061 aircraft grade aluminium. This proven drag racing-derived system is designed,
specified and built to maintain perfect crankshaft to output shaft alignment irrespective of the suddenness or the volume of
torque application. From these core architectural elements flows a Hellcat that we believe is the toughest motorcycle ever made.
LEAN
We believe contrivance in motorcycle design is fundamentally insincere. One doesn’t have to look far to find companies whose
brand identity is largely a component of some conjured, cheaply derived coverage system. Principled lean design showcases the
best effort of the craftsman. We challenge each component to serve as many functions as it can. The result is a remarkably
elegant machine whose form is dictated by function.
FAST
For us, fast means immediate, effortless, prodigious torque available just off idle. This power must be capable of pushing tall
gearing over an extremely broad RPM range. To achieve this mission, we formed a strategic partnership with S&S Cycle to design,
engineer, and build a new unitized V-Twin power plant. The result of this partnership has yielded the X132 Copperhead Motor.
The X132 Copperhead represents a new pinnacle for powertrain performance and durability. With this new motor, we proudly
offer you the world’s first street legal cannon.
TRUE
An honest machine expresses authenticity. Actual passion, real romance, unconditional love, and genuine emotion
live within the vital essence of an honest machine. Many men and women have poured their hearts into the challenge
of making the Confederate Hellcat series of machines iconic and sustainable. The inspiration and ideas behind this
effort have never changed in our twenty one year history. The machine initiates a return to true to concept American
Way industrial and mechanical design.

James Hoegh - world record v-twin class record holder
On August 28, 2013 at the Bonneville Motorcycle Speed Trials, James Hoegh successfully piloted the
Confederate X132 Hellcat Combat to a top speed of 287 km/h making it the world's fastest big block
American V-twin motorcycle ever...
A land speed record is the culmination of countless hours of dedicated work, preparation, sweat and expense.
Therefore it’s very gratifying and emotional, even, when it all pays off it means that our Confederate team is among
the finest, the bike world class, and my riding skills adequate, though not complete. It validates that we belong at
Bonneville, and that we are not only in the race, but at the cutting edge of performance.
