This modem contains all of the baseband signal processi to handle the lower layers of Mobitex and general pu data air interface protocols and is programmable to op standard bit rates in the range: 4000 to 19200b/s, from of Xtal/clock frequencies. The kit consists of a PCB containing a pair of ‘FX’ modem together with associated components, enable messages to be one modem and received by the other. Using the signal con the EV9000 can be integrated with an RF system. The EV9000 is supplied with software which enables the form content and modem operation to be controlled via a Micro environment on a PC. The kit, which includes a PC in complemented by a comprehensive instruction manual.
