FX909A Introduction
A half duplex GMSK filtered packet data modem IC fo
wireless data links.
This modem contains all of the baseband signal processi
to handle the lower layers of Mobitex and general pu
data air interface protocols and is programmable to op
standard bit rates in the range: 4000 to 19200b/s, from
of Xtal/clock frequencies.

EV9000 Evaluation Kit fo
FX909A, FX919A and FX92
Modem Data Pumps
An evaluation kit designed to demonstrate and investigat
facets of the FX909A, FX919A and FX929A modem dat
allow dynamic evaluation of the products.
The kit consists of a PCB containing a pair of ‘FX’ modem
together with associated components, enable messages to be
one modem and received by the other. Using the signal con
the EV9000 can be integrated with an RF system.
The EV9000 is supplied with software which enables the form
content and modem operation to be controlled via a Micro
environment on a PC. The kit, which includes a PC in
complemented by a comprehensive instruction manual.
