8 cylinder 292. Almost fully restored.
Owned car since 1961. Corinthian
white, interior red with red, white, and
black seats. Always stored. 89,000

1963 Ford Galaxie 500 Box Top Purchased in 1997 for $1250.00. Have
approximately $15,000 invested in the
restoration. Many extras were installed.
The engine was rebuilt (260), steering
mechanism was replaced, new mufflers with dual piles, new headliner,
new carpet and trunk mat, reupholstered front and rear seats to original,
replaced chrome as needed. Front
and rear bumpers rechromed by Born
Again Classics, rebuilt brakes system,
new tires, shocks and alignment, rebuilt carburetor, body was completely
worked over and repainted. No rust.
Powder coated valve covers and air
cleaner, repainted door panels, trunk
area and replaced hood insulation.
New heater and new air-conditioning,
new radio with remote CD player, four
new speakers. Generator replaced with
alternator, rebuilt differential, installed
electronic ignition, power brakes, electric fuel pump, rebuilt transmission
halogen headlights with relays system

Great looking 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500 Fastback. $7600 This car is in
nice condition, Interior was recently restored. The body is straight. Paint quality is average with a few small nicks.
Bumpers are straight. Glass is all good.
All dash components are working except for the clock. . Engine is 289 with 2
barrel and 2 speed automatic transmission. Odometer reads approximately
70,000 miles. Steering is tight. Solid
car, although two small areas in trunk
bottom were repaired some time ago.
This Galaxie starts easily and runs
nicely. Stays cool, shifts well, has excellent oil pressure, no smoke, etc. Just
turn the key and go. Nice power from
the 289. AM Radio works. New heater
core last year. Tires in good condition.
