Entries can include all types of unfinished wood flooring, hand-cut designs and mixed media installations that are predominantly wood. KAISER FLOORING CO. INC. GEORGETOWN, IND. ARCHITECT: Michael Koch CONTRACTOR’S COMMENTS: The abstract design was cut and built by hand on the job site and is constructed of white oak, Brazilian cherry and Peruvian walnut in a field of first-grade maple. Bill CONTRACTOR’S COMMENTS: The 311⁄2-inch square inlay uses mahogany, maple, walnut, cherry, Brazilian cherry and a biocomposite in a field of Brazilian cherry. HAMMONDS WOOD FLOORS INC. REAL FLOOR SOLUTIONS OF ROCHESTER INC. SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS ROCHESTER, MINN. DESIGNER: Doug Dolezal CONTRACTOR’S COMMENTS: The centerpiece of the rotunda is an 11-foot medallion of tapered mahogany and American cherry leaves, which match a tile backsplash in the kitchen. Inc., Environ Interiors CONTRACTOR’S COMMENTS: This second-story landing is part of a 2,500-square-foot Brazilian cherry strip installation that involved 400 lineal feet of border detail.
