Combination Aluminum and UHMW Guide Rails
Solus has designed aluminum extrusions which are now commonly
used as side guide rails and as support members under belting and
tabletop chain. The wear resistant inserts are made from UHMW
materials. There are a number of interchangeable combinations for
use in a variety of packaging machine and conveying applications.
The aluminum rails are rugged, easily mounted structural members
and the plastic inserts protect the package being conveyed from any
metal contact and create a low friction, non-marring surface to guide
and support the product.

Aluminum Rails
UHMW covers and inserts are typically shipped straight in tubes. 8' lengths can be shipped UPS.
Standard 10' or 20' lengths are shipped by common carrier. Selected
items can be coiled into cartons for more convenient shipping.
Combination Group A
The following aluminum extrusions can be used with any of the UHMW inserts
listed in this group. These rails are commonly used as side guides and as support
members under belting and table top chain. Fastening hardware not included.
