Art in Surf Vaz Brothers Big paddle is the preferred
of Caio Vaz. It has a very precise and strong stroke, it
pulls through the water with ease and delivers a
great torque to the board. Given its different
construction and shaft connection to the blade, it
gives more spring to each stroke, diminishing the
power needed to achieve the same glide on other
paddles. It is very responsive and great to use on big
surf, easy to exchange hands and put pressure on
bottom turns and other progressive and powerful
maneuvers.

experience of Alessandro Matero with years of research,
tests, and paddling competitions around the world, the
know how inherited from his father Osvaldo Matero a
paddle builder himself, and the Art in Surf technology
Tested and approved in the most demanding
competitions in the world, as Molokai-Oahu and 220km
11 City Sup Race.
The project took more than two years and resulted in
high quality, lightweight and rigid paddle .
