Inspired by nature more than 15 years
ago, founder Ricardo Farkas started
Vallarta Adventures as a way to share his
passion. He built the company around a
simple philosophy: provide unparalleled,
nature-based adventures for each and

single-boat operation has grown into

SOME WAYS WE ARE INSPIRING CHANGE
• Sponsor animal and environmental educational programs for kids and local residents.
• Donate to scholarships for local elementary school children.
• Provide free dolphin therapies for low-income families with children of special-needs.
• Oversee area re-forestation programs, beach clean-ups and roadside trash collections.
• Participate in the rescue and rehabilitation of distressed whales, dolphins, turtles and
marine life.
• Partner with groups like PEACE, Children of the Dump, Family Development Agency,
Sea World Conservation Fund, and many more for social and environmental causes.
• Recycle over 90% of our garbage and compost all organic waste.
In addition to exploring the jungle canopy
from the zip lines, you'll also experience
many other exciting activities. Like two
amazing rappels off of elevated treetop
platforms, a wobbly climb up the
15-meter (50 ft) high Crazy Ladder, fun
ride on the Tarzan Swings, plus suspended
walkways and hanging bridges.

OFFROAD ADVENTURE
SIERRA MADRE SOUTH
The ideal way to get off the beaten path and
explore the real Mexico. We’ll escort you in
Unimog® 4x4 vehicles into the remote,
traditional villages of the Vallarta-area
outback and introduce you to the unique
ecosystem of the Sierra Madre mountains. Our
exceptional guides will educate you on
everything, from the history of Mexico to the
flora and fauna of the mountains-all in
amazing detail. Enjoy a guided nature walk
and stop at a traditional “casa” for hand‐made
tortillas and tacos. On the way back, enjoy an

MARIETAS ECO DISCOVERY
Relax onboard our modern catamarans as
we cruise south of Puerto Vallarta. Our
morning is spent in the exquisite cove of
Majahuitas. This sheltered area possesses
some of the most inviting and clear waters in
the bay, making it a perfect place for
snorkeling and kayaking. In the afternoon
we head to Yelapa, for a stroll through this
charming fishing village up to a cascading
waterfall where you can jump in for a swim
or sit back and enjoy the view. Visit Yelapa’s
famous golden-sand beach and calm water
for some fun in the sun. We finish the day
with an entertaining catamaran cruise back
to Puerto Vallarta.
This day is the perfect mix of ecological discovery,
natural beauty and spirited entertainment. During
the winter months, there’s added bonus of
spotting Humpback whales, as the Bay is a
centuries – old breeding ground and resting place
following their annual migrations. As you reach
the islands, designated as a National Park, you will
encounter over 90 species of birds that call the
island home. Enjoy time in the clear refreshing
waters around the islands swimming, snorkeling,
kayaking and exploring. Following the water

This day of adventure and exploration
takes you to some of the most remote
areas and villages on Banderas Bay’s
south shore. Smaller groups on this tour

waterfalls to horses to beaches—this

Begin the day with an exciting bay
crossing in our famous Apex® inflatable
speedboats to the secluded fishing
village of Quimixto. Accessible only by
boat, you’ll enjoy a guided walk through

village. Meet the locals and learn what

fishing village.
At the river in the back of the village,

DOLPHIN EXTREME
An underwater experience like no other with dolphins
NEW
Designed for those seeking a little more adventure, our Dolphin Extreme
program provides guests with the opportunity to interact with dolphins in
their world—underwater! Equipped with a mask, snorkel and fins, you will
free swim and play with the animals as if you were one of them. You will
also enjoy a high-speed push across the pool on a Boogie Board, motorized
water scooter session with the dolphins, and an acrobatic performance by
the dolphins right in front of you. This is truly a unique experience available
only at Dolphin Adventure.
During Dolphin Extreme watch as they swim and play with a safe, fun and
easy-to-use underwater breathing system designed for non-certified divers.

A remarkable introduction to dolphins
Everyone dreams of swimming with dolphins, and our Dolphin Swim Experience is
your chance to chat, cuddle, play and swim with these charming and playful
creatures. Designed for those who want the comfort of a shallow platform as well as
an exciting swim encounter. From the platform, you will get to know your dolphin up
close and personal—learning all about these gentle and amazing animals. You also
enjoy a thrilling “belly ride” swim with your dolphin. This is truly a unique and magical
experience full of unique interaction and fun water activities.
Our Dolphin Encounter is designed for non-swimmers and families; it is an ideal introduction to dolphins. This encounter takes place in the shallow water of our seawater
pool—where you’ll get acquainted with these friendly and curious characters and
learn about their anatomy, physiology and the history of the ocean’s most inspiring
and intelligent mammals. Feel their smooth skin, feed them their favorite treat, kiss

Learn to train dolphins in Vallarta's supreme dolphin program
An unforgettable experience especially designed for kids
If you love dolphins, or have ever thought about being a dolphin trainer, the experience
of a lifetime awaits you! Developed for people with a passion for marine mammals, our
Trainer for a Day program gives you the chance to spend an interactive and educational
day working beside our dolphin trainers at our dolphin center in Nuevo Vallarta. You’ll
learn animal care, training methods and experience fun, in-water activities and more.
At Dolphin Adventure we believe people of all ages should have the chance to experience
our friendly family of dolphins. So we designed this program specifically for young
children, aged four to nine, to provide them the chance to interact and get closer to
dolphins than they ever dreamed possible. You are sure to see ear-to-ear smiles and
hear giggles of delight as the kids take joy in their encounter.

Enjoy an amazing and whimsical encounter with our sea lions
Our Sea Lion Encounter is the ideal way to get up-close with these silly and charming
animals. Designed to be both educational and fun, this hands-on program begins with an
introduction to the sea lions unique physiology, feeding habits and behaviors. Then,
accompanied by one of our professional marine mammal trainers, you’ll get nose-to-nose
with our sea lions for a comical and entertaining encounter like no other in the world!

Sea Tours:
• Bring a bathing suit, sunscreen, towel, hat, light
sweater (in the winter and evening tours) and
money for souvenirs and photos.
• All guests departing from the Maritime Terminal in
Puerto Vallarta will need to pay a port tax upon
entrance of 20 pesos.
• For divers, we recommend that you avoid diving
within 24 hours of a flight.
• Las Caletas: A deposit will be required for use of
snorkeling equipment.
• Las Caletas and Rhythms of the Night are not
recommended for guests in wheelchairs due to
uneven terrain.
Land Tours:
• Offroad Adventure: Bring a bathing suit, sunscreen,
towel, hat, light sweater (in the winter and evening
tours) and money for souvenirs and photos.
• Outdoor Adventure & Extreme Adventure: Bring spare
closed-toe shoes, change of clothes, light sweater
and money for souvenirs, snacks and photos.
