GF HAKAN PLASTiK DURAMAX is a multilayered sewer pipe system made of HDPE (High density
polyethylene) and PP (Polypropylene) for non-pressurized drainage in accordance with system standard of
EN 13476-3.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Duramax is a high quality multilayer pipe system which is made of HDPE and PP.
Duramax can be used at above and underground drainage systems,
even at areas with high traffic load.
Duramax products consist of pipes from 100mm to 1000mm with
and without socket and fittings with complementing accessories.
GF HAKAN PLASTiK is the first and only PP corrugated pipe
manufacturer of Turkey.

GF HAKAN DURAMAX CORRUGATED PIPING SYSTEMS - HDPE & PP
GF HAKAN DURAMAX features a double-layer wall construction. The multilayer structure increases pipe
rigidity. The smooth inner surface prevents adhesion of solid particles.
GF HAKAN CORRUGATED pipes are highly resistant to heavy ground and traffic loads with their specifically
designed ribbed body structures.Due to the molecule structure of the HDPE & PP raw material, the flexibility
of the GF HAKAN CORRUGATED pipes is very high.
Problems may occur at the connection points due to ground
movements after the installation.
Thanks to its special design, Duramax provides more resistant,
flexible and longer time sewage solutions.
All GF HAKAN DURAMAX
CORRUGATED fittings
are designed outstandingly
by making liquidity analysis.
By this means, the liquid
passing through the fittings
leaves the fitting with a
minimum loss of pressure.

infrastructure of turf sports facilities, berm drainage of roads,
protection of buildings and constructions having water in the

EASY & RAPID INSTALLATION
In order for the GF HAKAN DURAMAX CORRUGATED pipes and fittings to serve for long years
without any problems, compression should be performed layer after layer so as not to leave a
weak region around the pipe when channels are being filled up for the underground applications.
By using ATV 127, it is recommended to make deformation calculations according to their loads
in project offices.
A: Base fill
The base of the ditch should
be of compact sand in order
to allow easy installation.
AH should be minimum 150mm.

CONNECTION METHODS
In GF HAKAN DURAMAX CORRUGATED pipes two alternatives are suggested.
1 - Pipe connection with self socketed pipe (only one seal needed)
Socketed Pipes
2 - Pipe connection by using additional coupler (two seals needed)

SEAL INSTALLATION METHOD
1
Corrugated gaskets are inserted to first ring of the pipe's
tail part.
The gasket which is suitable for the pipes diameter is placed
on the end part, the other side is stretched by hand (or by
using a crowbar) and fitted on the second bulge of the pipe.
The final form of the gasket after it is fitted should be so that
domed part stays out.
Before assembling, lubricans such as soap or silicone should
be used at the parts with gasket or socket for convenience.
Mineral oils should not be used.
Before assembling, make sure that pipes are on an even axis
and angular differences should be corrected if any.
Pipes should be at a flat angle, small diameter should be fitted
by pushing with a crowbar, big diameters with the help of a
effort.
