Welcome to Oaklee’s Family Guide
Dear Readers,
Whew! July is here. We’ve already had some toasty days in June, but
Oaklee’s is ready with more ways to stay cool during the coming
Dog Days of Summer. (Did you know that these days were actually
named after Sirius, the Dog Star, which is visible at this time of year?)
Check out the Water Parks (pages 12-14) or Indoor Fun (pages 18-19)
to stay cool during the day, and Outdoor Concerts (page 32) for
evening activities. Our calendar lists many local festivals for more
food, entertainment and fun. As always, you’ll find tons of family
activities to help you go make summer memories, and before you
know it, the cooler fall weather will be here.
Happy Summer!
