HERTFORD MUSIC FESTIVAL PRESENTS, IN ASSOCIATION WITH
SUNDAY 30TH AUGUST 2015
LUNCHTIME TO BEDTIME AT 38 VENUES
ALL ROUND HERTFORD TOWN
PROGRAMME
PLEASE NOTE: ALL SCHEDULES ARE AS CORRECT AS POSSIBLE AT TIME OF GOING
TO PRESS. BUT ALMOST INEVITABLY THINGS WILL CHANGE!
WELCOME!
To the 10th Musical Mystery Tour
Welcome to the Musical Mystery Tour 2015 – the 10th
one since the event’s rather humble beginnings with a
single stage outside WH Smiths in 2006. By 2008 we had
six venues on board and it’s grown steadily until this year
we’re at an all-time record of 38 venues (if you include our
busking spots!).
This is also the biggest yet in terms of the sheer number
of musicians involved – at the last count it was 182
acts, involving an estimated 450 individual musicians.
The lion’s share of that talent is from Hertford and the
immediate surrounding area – proof if any were needed
that our little town punches well above its weight in
musical terms.
As mentioned on the cover, this programme is as
accurate as possible when going to print a week before
the event... But with this number of acts, it’s almost
inevitable that things will change. Check the website
(www.hertfordmusicfestival.co.uk) for the most up to
date info!
Finally, please have a look at our ‘Code of Conduct’ on the
inside back cover!
Have a great day!
Kev Saunders & Rob Guinn

A BIG THANK YOU!
To all the 450+ musicians who all play for free, the DJs and all 38
venues, all our volunteers, technical assistants and stage managers
too numerous to mention... Especially to David Phipps of Lounge
Lizard Audio who’s been co-ordinating all the sound systems.
To all the thousands of people who turn up and rock ‘n’ stroll round
Hertford each year!
To all the residents of the town centre who put up with our
shenanigans without complaint!
And of course to to all our generous sponsors, without whom we
couldn’t keep making this event bigger and better every year!
