Jan. 26. The workshop was held.at the Muleshoe
Area Public Library.
The workshop wat:;
sponsored by the West Texas Library System and
,titltcF.:-'l..ibrary Policies'. A special 'thanks' of
appreciation to Gladys Hudgins for working as
Librarian that day and for donating her time.
"We Love Our Library" - On display in the
Library's showcase is a collection of Valentines
dating from 1907 to 1915. Valentine postcards
sent to Walta Katherine (Luttrell) Thomas during
the eyars 1907 to 1910 were loaned by Jeanne
Allen. Valentines sent toJoyStewart(!ater Webb)
dating from 1910 to 1915 were loaned by Dr.
Stewart Webb. Plainview, Homemade valentines
leaturing calling cards are also on display. 'These
belqnged to Percy Wardell Griffith arid date
around 1900. Mary Jane Brashear loaned this
collection for our display. All are unusual and
beautiful. We hope everyonfl has the opportunity
to see these.
