The MAM30 is Mako’s simple solution to a very complicated question. When we asked operators what they felt was lacking in their current reflex optics setup, the most
common answer was a need to rapidly clear the magnifier from the path of their reflex optics in a way that doesn’t change the balance of the weapon. Not only did they
want a way to clear it, they wanted to be able to keep it in a disengaged position without:
