Unpacking
Carefully unpack the stand and all of its parts. Compare them against the list
below. Do not discard the carton or any packaging until the stand is
assembled.

Setup the stand (Fig. 1)

1. Press the release button (1) on
the support for each leg of the
stand.
2. Extend each leg until the
release button snaps into the
open position.
3. Lift up the stand and set it
down on all four legs.

stand. Ensure wheel is tightened
as far as possible while still
allowing for wheel to move freely

Level the stand (Fig. 3)
1. Position the stand where you
want to use it.
2. Set a level (not provided) on the
stand. If the stand is not level.

b. Loosen the lock knob (1) on
the leveling leg.
c. Rotate the leveling screw (2)
to raise or lower the leg as
needed. Tighten the
lock knob.

3. Check to make sure the stand is
level. Repeat step 2 as needed
until the stand is level.

Install the rollers (Fig. 4)

Use the rollers to support long
workpieces and prevent sagging.
1. Insert the shaft of a roller (1) into a channel at
the end of the stand ensuring lip of roller is
facing inward. Screw in rubber feet (P) into roller
2. Loosen the lock knobs (2) as needed to adjust
the height and angle of rollers. Tighten the lock
knobs to secure the rollers.

NOTE: Ensure roller with rubber feet is installed on wheel side
NOTE: Rollers are offset. Ensure that the longer portion of roller is facing
front of stand (side of stand with “Maxtech” labels)
Assembly/Installing the
mounting bars (Fig. 5)

1. Place the front hook (1) of eitherl
mounting bar over the front rai of
the stand.
2. Lower the rear end of the mounting bar
onto the rear rail. Rotate the lock knob
(H) to secure the clamp bar to the stand

3. Insert bolt ( F) through clamp bar
handle (E) and secure with Nut (G)
4. Repeat steps for second bracket

Install the mounting hardware

1. Insert a bolt (J) through each of the 4
small metal mounting plates (I)

fit into the track and the bolt will

Measure the miter saw
Measure the saw to obtain these
dimensions:
1. Distance between the two front
mounting holes.
2. Distance between the two rear
mounting holes.
3. Distance from the front mounting
hole to the rear mounting hole
along one side.
Note: Mount the saw on plywood before mounting it on the stand if the
distances in steps 1 and 2 above are not the same. (see page 7)
!
WARNING! THE SAW MAY BE HEAVY. TO AVOID INJURY, TWO
PEOPLE SHOULD LIFT AND POSITION THE SAW ON THE STAND.
Attach saw to the stand (Fig. 8)
Use this procedure if the distance
between the two mounting holes at
the front of the saw is the same as
the distance between the two
mounting holes at the rear of the
saw.

1. Adjust the positions of the
mounting bars and bolts on the
stand to match the distances
between the mounting holes on
the saw.
2. Hold the saw over the stand and
align the mounting holes on the
saw over the four bolts in the
stand. Set the saw down over
the bolts.
3. Secure each bolt with a flat
washer, lock washer, and nut.
Tighten securely.
WARNING! ENSURE SAW IS MOUNTED IN THE MIDDLE OF STAND

1. Place the saw on a piece of
plywood (not provided) and mark
the location of each mounting
hole (1).

2. Adjust the position of the
mounting bars (4) and the front
and rear mounting bolts (3) to
accommodate the size of the
plywood.

3. Measure the distances between the mounting bolts (3), and mark
the plywood to match.
4. Drill eight holes in the plywood;
four for the saw (1) and four for the mounting bolts (2).
5. Align the four holes (2) in the plywood over the four mounting bolts (3)
on the stand. Set the plywood down over the bolts.
6. Secure each bolt with a flat washer, lock washer, and nut. Tighten securely
7. Mount the saw to the plywood
(hardware not provided).
WARNING! 1/2” THICK PLYWOOD MINIMUM IS RECOMMENDED

Storage
Folding the stand (Fig. 10)
1. Remove the saw from the stand.
2. Tip the stand so that it rests on the wheel end. Support or brace the
stand as needed to prevent it from falling.
3. Press the release button (1) on each of the wheel-end
legs and fold up each leg until the release button locks.

Storing your stand vertically (Fig. 11)
1. Remove saw and brackets from rails of stand
2. Follow directions on folding your stand
3. Ensure roller extension with rubber feet is
on the same end as the wheels
4. Lift stand vertically and ensure wheels and
rubber feet on roller make contact with the floor

One (1) Year Limited Warranty
This MAXTECH product is guaranteed for a period of one (1) year from the
date of original retail purchase against defects in workmanship and materials.
Subject to the conditions and limitations described below, this product, if
returned to us with proof of purchase within the stated warranty period and if
covered under this warranty, will be repaired or replaced (with the same
model, or one of equal value or specification), at our option.
These warranties are subject to the following conditions and limitations:
a) a bill of sale verifying the purchase and purchase date must be
provided;
b) this warranty will not apply to any product or part thereof which is worn
or broken or which has become inoperative due to abuse, misuse,
accidental damage, neglect or lack of proper installation, operation or
maintenance (as outlined in the applicable owner’s manual or operating
instructions) or which is being used for industrial, professional,
commercial or rental purposes;
c) this warranty will not apply to normal wear and tear or to expendable
parts or accessories that may be supplied with the product that are
expected to become inoperative or unusable after a reasonable period
of use;
d) this warranty will not apply to routine maintenance and consumable
items such as, but not limited to, fuel, lubricants, vacuum bags, blades,
belts, sandpaper, bits, fluids, tune-ups or adjustments;
e) this warranty will not apply where damage is caused by repairs made or
attempted by others (i.e. persons not authorized by the manufacturer);
f)
this warranty will not apply to any product that was sold to the original
purchaser as a reconditioned or refurbished product (unless otherwise
specified in writing);

g) this warranty will not apply to any product or part thereof if any part
from another manufacturer is installed therein or any repairs or
alterations have been made or attempted by unauthorized persons;

corrosion or discolouring by heat, abrasive and chemical cleaners; and
i)
this warranty will not apply to component parts sold by and identified
as the product of another company, which shall be covered under the
product manufacturer’s warranty, if any.
Additional Limitations
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and may not be
transferred. Neither the retailer nor the manufacturer shall be liable for any
other expense, loss or damage, including, without limitation, any indirect,
incidental, consequential or exemplary damages arising in connection with
the sale, use or inability to use this product.

Nota: Monte la sierra en la madera contrachapada antes de montarla en el
banco si las distancias de los pasos 1 y 2 anteriores no son iguales. (Vea

Sujete la sierra al banco (Fig. 8)
Use este procedimiento si la distancia
entre los dos orificios de montaje de la
parte delantera de la sierra es la misma
que la distancia entre los dos orificios
demontaje de la parte trasera de la sierra.

Use este procedimiento si la

distancia entre los dos orificios

sierra no es la misma que la
distancia entre los dos orificios
de montaje traseros de la sierra.

1. Coloque la sierra sobre una
pieza de madera contrachapada (no proporcionada) y
marque la posición de cada
orificio de montaje (1).
2. Ajuste la posición de las

barras de montaje (4) y los
pernos de montaje delanteros
y traseros (3) para acomodar el tamaño del contrachapado.
3. Mida las distancias entre los pernos de montaje (3), y marque el
contrachapado para que coincidan.
4. Taladre ocho orificios en el contrachapado; cuatro para la sierra
(1) y cuatro para los pernos de montaje (2).
5. Alinee los cuatro orificios (2) del contrachapado sobre los cuatro
pernos de montaje (3) del banco. Asiente el contrachapado sobre
los pernos.
6. Asegure cada perno con una arandela plana, arandela de presión, y tuerca. Apriete bien.
7. Monte la sierra en el contrachapado (utilería no proporcionada).

Almacenamiento
Cómo plegar el banco (Fig. 10)
1. Retire la sierra del banco.
2. Incline el banco de modo que descanse sobre el extremo de la
rueda. Apoye o fije el banco según sea necesario para evitar que
se caiga.
3. Presione el botón liberador (1) que se halla en cada una de las patas de los
extremos de las ruedas y pliegue cada pata hasta que se bloquee el botón
liberador.

Cómo almacenar su banco verticalmente
(Fig. 11)
1. Retire la sierra del banco.
2. Quite la sierra y las ménsulas de los rieles
del banco.
3. Siga las instrucciones de plegado de su
banco.
4. Asegúrese de que la extensión del rodillo
con patas de caucho quede en el mismo
extremo que las ruedas.
5. Levante el banco verticalmente y asegúrese de que las ruedas y las patas de caucho
del rodillo hagan contacto con el piso.

Garantía limitada a un (1) año
Este producto MAXTECH está garantizado por un periodo de un (1)
año a partir de la fecha original de compra al detalle contra defectos
en los materiales o en la mano de obra.
Sujeto a las condiciones y limitaciones descritas a continuación, este
producto, de sernos devuelto con prueba de compra dentro del
periodo de garantía indicado y si está cubierto conforme a esta
garantía, será reparado o reemplazado (con el mismo modelo, o uno
de valor o especificación igual), a nuestra discreción.
Estas garantías están sujetas a las siguientes condiciones y limitaciones:
a) deberá proporcionarse la nota de venta que verifique la compra y
la fecha de la compra;
b) esta garantía no se aplicará a ningún producto o parte del mismo
que esté desgastado o roto o que se haya vuelto inoperante

reparaciones hechas o intentadas por otros (es decir, personas no
autorizadas por el fabricante);
f) esta garantía no se aplicará a ningún producto que haya sido
vendido al comprador original como producto reacondicionado o
restaurado (salvo que se especifique otra cosa por escrito);

g) esta garantía no se aplicará a ningún producto o parte del mismo
si se le instala alguna pieza de otro fabricante o se le han hecho o
intentado hacer reparaciones o modificaciones por personas no
autorizadas;
h) esta garantía no se aplicará por deterioro normal del acabado
exterior, como, entre otros, rasguños, abolladuras, virutas de
pintura, o por ninguna corrosión o decolorado por calor, limpiadores abrasivos y químicos; y
i) esta garantía no se aplicará a partes componentes vendidas por e
identificadas como productos de otra compañía, las cuales deberán ser cubiertas por la garantía del fabricante del producto, si
hubiese alguno.
Limitaciones adicionales
Esta garantía se aplica sólo al comprador original y no puede ser
transferida. Ni el detallista ni el fabricante serán responsables de
ningún otro gasto, pérdida o daño, incluyendo, mas no limitados, a
cualquier daño indirecto, secundario, consiguiente o compensación
punitiva que surja en relación a la venta, uso o inhabilidad para usar
este producto.
Aviso al consumidor
Esta garantía le otorga derechos legales específicos, además de
otros que usted pueda tener, según el estado donde resida. Las
disposiciones que contiene esta garantía no tienen por intención
limitar, modificar, eliminar, rechazar o excluir cualquier garantía
estatutaria estipulada en cualquier legislación estatal o federal
aplicable.
