Our fun, free weekly social event takes
place every Thursday at our Hillel Lounge in
Corbin Village: 19720 Ventura Blvd., Suite G
in Woodland Hills (unless otherwise noted).
FEBRUARY 12
JEWISH IMPROV
PLAYSHOP WITH BRIAN FOX!
8:00 pm
Brian Fox, actor and educator, will lead
“edutainment playshops” (translation: fun
and educational workshops) using improvisational theater games to explore Jewish
values. The playshops are interactive
where everyone participates, shines like a
star and has fun!

CASINO NIGHT

It’s our fifth annual Casino Night featuring
casino style card games and the return of
mocktails. Games will be cheap so don’t
forget to bring money. All proceeds will be
donated to United Jewish Fund in conjunction with Super Sunday.

SOLLEY’S DELI NIGHT OUT

Who doesn’t love food? Solley’s is one of
the Valley’s classic Jewish Delis with
favorites such as knishes, blintzes, potato
pancakes, matzah ball soup along with
great desserts, coffee and tea. Spend time
eating and schmoozing with your Hillel
friends! Solley’s is located in Sherman
Oaks at 4578 Van Nuys Blvd. south of the
101 freeway. Please bring money for your
food and beverages.

PURIM PARTY AND TALENT SHOW

We’re celebrating Purim this week with a talent show/Purim Shpiel. Dress in costume
and participate in our costume contest for
prizes. We’ll have great food including
Hamentaschen! The talent show is your
first opportunity to audition for our Beit Cafe
Israeli Coffeehouse happening at Tempo
Restaurant on May 2.

Come to Sherman Oaks Castle Park for a fun
night out of miniature golf. Our group rate is $4

the arcade at 9:00 pm. Sherman Oaks Castle

the west side of Sepulveda between Ventura
Blvd and Burbank Bllvd., just north of the 101
Freeway.)

at the “Casting Couch” on the ground level.
We’ll do Havdallah there, then spend a fun
night exploring classic Hollywood, the Mann
Chinese Theater, Hollywood Walk of Fame,
etc. Bring money for snacks and shopping.
Parking at Hollywood and Highland is $2.00

AUDITION FOR BEIT CAFE
ISRAELI COFFEEHOUSE
Thanks to a generous IRA grant from the
Jewish Federation Valley Alliance, we will be
having an Israeli Beit Cafe at Tempo
Restaurant in Encino, Sunday, May 2.
Students from campuses across the Valley
and outlying areas will be invited to attend
and audition to perform on stage that
evening. Musicians, singers, comedians,
dancers, actors, poets, etc. who are interested in performing should contact us to
arrange an audition.
Your first opportunity to audition live and on
stage is at our Cafe Hillel "Purim Talent
Show" on Thursday, March 4.
