Sing a Song
On Tuesday, May 17th, the
kindergarten children performed
some of their favorite songs at
Mainstreet Church for their families. The program lasted a little
over an hour. Each classroom
had their special moment in the
spotlight to share their favorite
song, as well as perform with the
rest of the classes in whole group
songs. Family members enjoyed
the moment and were proud of
their kindergartners.
Fee Day This Summer
Fee Day is Wednesday, August
17th from 11-1 and 4-6. Fees can
be paid for Walbridge or Lake
Elementary students at either
Walbridge or Lake Elementary.
Middle school and high school
fees need to be paid at the appropriate building. Classroom
assignments will be given when
fees are paid.
In addition, Lake Elementary
will have their Open House on
Monday, August 22 (the day before school starts). Students can
visit their classrooms, meet their
teacher and bring in their school
supplies at this time. More information will be sent home in the
summer mailing packet.

Lake Athletic Booster Club Needs You!
It’s that time of year again. Time for the Annual Lake Athletic Booster
Club Membership Drive. This is important for the Athletic Boosters, because
this money is used to stock our concession stands and gear up for an exciting
athletic season.
Besides handling the concessions, recent purchases from the Booster Club
for Lake Athletics include track uniforms, jerseys and uniforms for most of
the sports teams, bags for the golf team, a field stripping machine and weight
room equipment.
As in the past, we are asking for your help. We have two levels of membership:
Navy
For a donation of $50, you will receive two free passes to any athletic
event, excluding tournaments, your names listed in the sports programs as
members of
the Lake Athletic Boosters, and a Lake Athletic Booster decal.
White
For a donation of $25 you will receive one free pass to any athletic event,
excluding tournaments, and your names listed in the sports programs as
members of the Lake Athletic Boosters.

Requirements for Lake Athletics

Athletes (grades 7-12) may NOT
condition/train, participate/tryout, attend open gyms/camps without a valid
Physical, & Emergency Medical Form
on file in the athletic office. After rosters are set, then athletes are required
to; complete the handbook consent
waiver, pay activity fees, and complete
onsite drug testing.

Emergency medical authorization
forms are forms, which list emergency
parent contacts and hospitalization procedures. The emergency medical form
must be redone each year after May
31st. This form can be downloaded or
picked-up in the office.
3. Athletic Handbook – Informed
Consent Waiver (download from website above)
The Athletic Handbook Informed
Consent Waiver is a student/parent
consensual form to agreement of athletic policies and procedures found in
the Athletic Handbook. This form is
generally due after distribution of the
handbook & when team rosters are
set (within 1st week of practice). This
waiver & handbook can be downloaded or picked-up in the office.
