GUARD IT WITH GATOR
LIGHTWEIGHT CONSTRUCTION
This method of construction is a blend between dense
foam and nylon. The interiors are constructed with a dense
EPS foam that is shaped to create a “hard” case. Then we
cover the foam with high quality 600 denier nylon to make
it appear similar to a bag yet have the rigidity of a hard
case.
DENIER NYLON
A strong nylon material that is used in the construction of
bags. The higher the number, such as 600-denier, the better
the quality. 600-denier is highly tear-and-water-resistant.
PE - HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE
PE is a rugged plastic material which has a high resistance
to impact. PE provides good performance in low
temperatures where other plastics would crack and is
highly resistant to both chemicals and moisture. Gator
uses PE for the products that need to take the hardest
beating on the road.

G-TOUR™
G TOUR™ is a Gator designed flight case with heavyduty aluminum extrusions and rugged laminated
plywood exterior.
ABS - ACRYLONITRILE BUTADINE STYRENE
ABS plastic has good impact resistance and impact
absorption. It is easily formed to make all shapes and sizes.
Gator uses ABS for the cases that are designed to offer
strong hard case protection but do not need the extreme
durability of PE.
EVA ETHYLENE-VINYL ACETATE
EVA is a polymer used to absorb physical shock. Gator
uses EVA to give extra protection between foam and
nylon along with forming tough contoured molded
pieces.
ROTO-MOLD
The rotational molding process is a high temperature,
low pressure plastic forming process that uses heat and
biaxial rotation (rotation on two axes) to produce hollow,
one piece parts. Gator utilizes roto-molding for large
format products that require form fitting capabilities.
EPS FOAM – EXPANDED POLYSTYRENE
EPS is a thermal plastic material. It is formed to make a
dense foam that is ideal for creating form fit protection for
the product. Gator uses EPS to create case interiors and
structures.

The revolutionary Elite Air Series design features an oversized case with tailor-made contours and shaped foam
strips to securely cushion each drum. The drum rests in the middle, away from side walls, which provides a snug
fit and eliminates the need for foam. The unique shape is designed to accommodate most suspended mounting
brackets without “up-sizing” and comes with a limited, lifetime warranty against cracking.
The Elite Air Combination Tom case blends Elite’s optimum protection with the convenience of one case. The contoured divider allows smaller
toms to securely sit atop larger toms and is available for 10” & 12” and 12” & 13” tom combinations.

EVOLUTION SNARE DRUM CASE SERIES
• Patented suspension system of molded-in suspension platforms with foam rubber pads
center the drum and suspend it by contacting the rim at only eight points. This floats the
drum inside the case and creates air-space around the drum shell, hardware, and heads
• No pressure on the heads or shells means better tuning stability
• 2" wide web strap and YKK side-release buckle. Rated at 350 lbs tensile

• The octagonal shape creates extra room inside the case to

CLASSIC SERIES
Recognized as the industry standard rotationally molded drum cases, Protechtor Cases’ Classic Series
provides strength, durability and simplicity for almost any drum size. The rotational molding process gives
added strength and durability to case corners and provides water resistance that non-roto molded
cases can’t match. Custom depths and colors are available. All Protechtor Cases come with a
limited, lifetime warranty against cracking.
The Multi-Tom case features rounded pockets to make room
for floor tom leg mounts. The 34” maximum depth
allows for any combination of floor toms (up to 16”
diameter), mounted toms and/or snares.

POLYETHYLENE MOLDED SHOCK RACKS
Gator’s lightweight polyethylene shock racks are built for protection and
function. The shock rack is specifically designed to allow 360 degree
air ventilation around equipment to keep your gear running cool.
Adjustable interior sliding support on each side of the rack adjusts front
to back and up and down for rear support of gear to eliminate shifting
and jostling. Recessed side handles give your hands a break while the
locking lid gives you peace of mind.

Gator Frameworks was developed by musicians and audiophiles that are
passionate about their gear. Every stand must meet the scrutiny of the product
designers that “Yes, this is the one I would choose to buy and use on stage, at work or
in my home”.
At the core of all Gator Frameworks product design is the mission for it to be easy to
operate and to hold up to extensive use. The handles, knobs and mechanisms are
designed to operate in the most instinctive way and to feel comfortable in your hand.
Our goal is to humanize every product. We utilize only the best of materials and have
added attributes such as thicker extrusion and anodized parts to every product in order
to ensure that they will endure the rigors of the field.

The focus of Gator Frameworks is to ensure that every contact point that you operate

From the get-go we wanted to do something new, something that looked sleek and
that worked better than anything in the market today. From this ideology was born
what we at Gator Cases call our iD series, a truly new stand line redesigned from the
