Marshbanks Golden Retriever Club of
South-central Michigan was formed in
March 1998. Our club is dedicated to the
enjoyment of the versatile Golden
Retriever. We are approved to hold AKC
events including:
* Hunt tests
* Tracking tests
* Conformation events
* Obedience & Rally trials
We have held several AKC sanctioned
conformation matches and supported the
entry at local dog shows. We have also
held several WC/WCX tests and three
CCA's, including the 2nd CCA ever held.
Our club holds monthly meetings. For

Jackson Road in Ann Arbor, Open 24 hrs. Turn left (east) on West Ellsworth Rd. Turn left
onto South Wagner Rd. Continue for just approximately 4 miles to Jackson Rd. Turn left on
Jackson Rd. (a Michigan left – turn right on Jackson and then immediately U-turn). Continue
for approximately 2 miles. The Emergency Veterinary Hospital of Ann Arbor will be on your
right. If you reach Zeeb Rd., you’ve got about 0.1 of a mile too far.

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS
Entry Fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by
Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by the action of the Show Committee. If because
of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open
or to complete the show, no refund of entry fees will be made.
No Practicing will be Allowed in the Rings at any Time. Dogs may arrive any time prior to their
scheduled time of judging. Dog not required for further judging will be excused.
Judges WILL NOT Wait for Any Dog Holding Up a Class. Owners or agents alone are responsible
for the presence of their dogs in judging ring when their classes are called to be judged.
All Dog Present must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when
in the exercising ring.
No Gasoline or Diesel Generators are permitted inside any building or within 100 feet of any tent in
which this dog show is conducted.
CRATES MUST BE STACKED UPON REQUEST
Bitches in Season – A refund of all entry fees less $10 will be made to any exhibitor who has a bitch
entered who comes in season after the entries close. To be eligible for a refund, a statement from a
veterinarian must be presented to the Trial Secretary no later than 9 AM the morning of the trial or the
veterinarian’s statement may be mailed to the Trial Secretary, provided it is received prior to the
opening of the trial.
Multiple Entries – Where there is a multiple entry of the same dog, only the highest score will be
eligible for special awards.
Trophies – All trophies must be claimed at the trial. NONE WILL BE MAILED. Any unclaimed
awards become the property of the Marshbanks Golden Retriever Club.
Due to Space Limitations, space for unentered dogs will not be provided.
Neither Marshbanks Golden Retriever Club of South Central Michigan nor the property owner
will be responsible for the loss or damage to any dog on the show grounds, whether as a result of an
accident or any other cause. It is clearly understood that every dog entered in the show is in the care,
custody and control of its owner or handler during the entire time the dog is on the show premises.
Parents are responsible for their children.
