The Hercules Difference
Hercules stuffing boxes are recognized for superior quality and design unsurpassed in the industry. Hercules originated
cone-style packing and it quickly became the industry standard. Now with the advent of DOME® packing, Hercules has
introduced a new concept destined to become an even greater standard. Both cone and DOME® packing provide a tight
seal without the excessive tightening required for compression-type packing. Certain Hercules stuffing boxes have a unique
misaligning feature that
reduces the need for exact
alignment with the pumping

Rod rotation is the most effective means of removing paraffin from inside the
tubing and distributing wear evenly. This process also protects against severe
rod and tubing wear when used in conjunction with rod guides. Hercules®
rod rotators are available in maximum recommended loads ranging from
13,000-40,000 pounds.
