Instructor: Polly Manke
Make 2016 your healthiest year yet!
“Let food be thy medicine and medicine
be thy food” ~ Hippocrates, the father of
modern medicine
Do the choices about “what’s healthy” ever
overwhelm you?
Have you been told you have an
autoimmune disease and there’s no
treatment? I have.
Do you consider yourself a healthy eater
but you still feel lousy, have low energy
and have trouble sleeping, fatigue easily,
and ache all the time? I did!
Have you been told your blood tests are all
normal and you’re healthy? But you don’t
feel healthy? Yup, this one too.
I have an inherent knowledge in the power
of food as medicine. And over the years
I’ve lived and practiced what I believe and
now, I know (not just a belief anymore) …
We have the power to affect our health
and well-being through diet and lifestyle
choices. But how do you sort through the
myriad of information available?
In this 5 part series we’ll address:
• The choices that really work
• Tuning in to subtle energy to access your
own inner guidance system. Your body’s
wisdom & your own experience, are the
best teachers …
• What’s healthy for one might not be
healthy for another!
• Strategies for choosing the right foods to
feel great
• Learn about resources to support you in
taking charge of your Health & Wellness,
holistically!
• Experiencing the support of a learning
community to make sustainable change
that’s right for YOU to Live Radiantly!

is an annoying stop on the way to some local fast food and MOTHER MAY I ? is a polite
way to get some allowance, then they should sign up for some Retro Recess. They
will discover a time machine, full of dodge balls, kick balls, crab soccer balls, plus
playground games that will require real thinking and skill. Matt Blowers is an overgrown child who still plays those old fashioned games. He will introduce them to all
the games YOU loved as a kid. In the spring we will do outside playground games.

league
Grades 4-12
Already taken the beginner archery class?
Come demonstrate what you learned in our
archery league. Participants will compete
against each other for highest scores. We
will shoot at total of 30 arrows, broken into
“rounds”, from 20 yards. Scores will be
recorded based on where your arrow hits the
target. We will be using a standard single
spot target, with the bullseye being worth 5
points. A handicap, based on your 1st weeks’
score, will be calculated to keep the league
competitive. This league will run 8 weeks,
starting June 7th. Completion of the beginners course, or the ability to demonstrate the
required minimum skill level to the official
will be required to join the league. This
program will run at Centerville Mills archery
range and most equipment is supplied. It is
recommended that you buy an arm guard
that fits you. Outside equipment must be approved by the instructor. Space is limited.

Red, Orange, Green (ROG) – ROG is code for a pathway for junior tennis players. Using appropriately sized equipment along with
different kinds of tennis balls allows us to teach skills more effectively. The United States Tennis Association believes in it. So do we.
For more information, please visit USTA.COM or contact Walt at 216-509-2793 or [email protected]
SHORT STUFF TENNIS – Short Stuff tennis has been the fun start to tennis destination of many families. This
program is for your 5, 6 and 7 year old. We do no not recommend 4 year olds in the program. If your son or
daughter is 4 or younger, there are other options we can recommend. We tend to use RED BALLS and FOAM
BALLS for this level. We also teach them on a 36 foot court to expose our younger athlete to age appropriate
match formats.
Camps offered each week at 9:00 - 9:45am and 1:30 - 2:15pm Fee: $44 per morning or afternoon session
Class #1950
USA 123 FOR KIDS – This has consistently been a great foundation for the future High School tennis player.
We teach advanced foundation with plans for your future high school career! A portion of our curriculum uses
appropriate transitional balls and smaller courts to improve rally success. Our camps are famous for a wide
array of games! We expect this level to include players between the ages of 8 and 12. Classes are always
segregated by age and ability. This level will use a range of tennis balls to develop skills. That includes use of
the ORANGE, GREEN and YELLOW Balls. This has been quite effective in achieving our goals of fun and skill!
Camps offered each week at 9:45 - 11:00am and 2:15 - 3:30pm Fee: $69 per morning or afternoon session
Class #1951
TEEN TENNIS/MIDDLE SCHOOL/HIGH SCHOOL – It is never too late to start tennis! We envision this program
to be for the 13 or older player with varying levels of experience. This program has created many Varsity level
tennis players in the past 10 years. There was even (1) State Runner-up that can claim participation in this
program. This is also a perfect fit for Middle School and High School lower Junior Varsity players. Our
curriculum is different in that it focuses on skills needed to succeed on a high school or middle school team.
These skills include consistency, movement, balance and doubles foundation.
Camps offered each week at 11:00 - 12:30pm and 3:30 - 5:00pm Fee: $79 per morning or afternoon session
