This annual event, which to date has raised more than $400,000, is a fund raiser to benefit Cerebral Palsy of Colorado Children’s Programs. Funds derived from the Car Show help CP of Colorado provide quality early intervention, family support, preschool and early care and education programs to 700 children and their families from diverse incomes, ethnic backgrounds and ability levels. CP is committed to helping fami- lies and children achieve their fullest potential in an integrated and diverse environment that honors the abilities of all children and families. Noise has become a big issue in the towns and neighborhoods where our tracks are (We are referring to The Dragon Slide, of course!) located. So much so, that RMR is required to strictly enforce noise restrictions for the 2005 season. All DE registrants, please be advised that mufflers are required for all tracks. Additional limits are required by municipal laws and track rules. Continental Divide Raceway in Mead has a 103db limit measured 50 feet from the track. 2nd Creek in Commerce City has a 50db limit measured at the complaining landowner’s property line. Woody Creek in Aspen has a vague but enforceable, “If the track manager thinks you are too loud,” limit.
