drag and drop design editor. Design with beautiful
fonts, colors, custom photos, lines and shapes.

labels from Contacts, this app helps you get the job
done, quickly and efficiently!

Creating your first label
1. Launch Orion Label Maker
2. Go to File Menu > File > New > New Design Project
3. Select save location, this will create a new folder at the selected path. All your label designs
will be saved into this folder. You may create multiple folders for different design projects if
desired
4. Drag and drop objects from the Inspector Panel to the canvas to start adding photos and text
to the label
5. "Double click" on text box to edit and customize text to your address

How to select a label template
Before starting the label design, please
choose the correct label template.
1. Toolbar > open "Choose Template"
dropdown list
2. Choose template
You may update the template selected at
any time by selecting a new template in
the dropdown list.
** When changing templates: if you
switch to a template that is sized
significantly different from an old
template, you may need to rearrange the
existing label design to better fit the new
template size.
The canvas size will also update to adjust
to newly selected template.

How to add a new text box

1. Open Inspector Panel, click "Objects" tab. Drag and drop "Text Box" onto the canvas.
2. Move text box to desired location
3. "Double click" on text box to edit text content
4. If needed, adjust "zoom scale" to better fit entire label design onto the screen

How to modify font style, size and color
1. Open Inspector Panel, click "Formats"
tab (second tab)
2. Select text box
3. Modify "Font Style and Font Size" in
Inspector Panel to modify text size and
style
4. Click on "Color - Text" to update font
color

File save format
Files are saved in "publisherstar" format, this is the native file format
for this app.
Most of the time, you will want to open the editor in multi-design
project mode, go to File Menu > Open ... > "Open Design Project
Folder" and select the "folder" containing the publisherstar files.
To share design files, each "publisherstar" file can be transferred
individually. (i.e. emailed as attachment)

Print label to selected spots
Step 1
Toolbar > Print Singles
Step 2
Select one or multiple spots where you
wish to print label.
In this example, we want to print to
blank label spot located at the second
column and the second row. (2 x 2)
Step 3
Review print preview screen. Choose
"Print" when ready.

Print different addresses to a sheet
There are two options for printing different addresses to a label sheet
Option 1. Create different labels, enter each address manually
Option 2. Create a personalized label template, automatically generate from
addresses stored in Contacts
Create different labels, enter addresses directly
Create each label individually by going to "Toolbar > New". To save time, you can easily
replicate an existing label design by right clicking on a label icon and choosing "Duplicate".
**If "right click" is not enabled, go to System Preferences > Trackpad > Secondary Click
After all labels are created, go to
"Toolbar > Print Multiple"
Preview labels and choose "Print"
when ready.

Print from Contacts with Personalization Tags
1. Create a template label with personalization tags. Personalization tags are placeholders for where you
wish to include information from contacts.
For example, the tag [FIRST_NAME] will be replaced with a selected contact's first name (a name such as
"Sarah") when the app generates personalized tags.
2. Choose the "Contacts" button from the toolbar when you're ready to select from Contacts

3. Select the contacts you wish to generate labels for, choose "Save" when ready.
4. An alert box will popup prompting for confirmation to proceed with label generation, choose
"Generate" when ready.

5. Choose "Print Multiple" when ready to print generated designs.

- When generating from Contacts, the
personalization tags are automatically replaced
with Contact data
- In this example, a personalized label is
created for "Dr. Andrea Marshall".

Step 1.
Launch Orion Label Maker
Choose "Start New"
Select directory path for saving label
designs
Step 2
In this example, we want to print 6
label per sheet templates,
compatible with Avery 5164
Step 3
Enter address into label. Format
text style.
Open Inspector Panel:
- Choose "Format" tab
- Update Font Style and Font Size

Create more new labels:

Repeat this step to add as many labels as
