Our Condensing boilers are completely designed, built and tested in Cosmogas’s ASME manufacturing facility and are the fruit of our tenyear experience in the development of the stainless steel condensing boiler with pre-mixed air/gas burner combustion technology. The primary heat exchanger made of stainless steel AISI 316L with Radial Shared Circulation (R.S.C.), the air/gas modulation system “Cosmomix”, the secondary heat exchanger “Acquajet” for D.H.W. production with micro-tank system, the electronic control “Hydroplus”, have been conceived, designed, patented and built for the purpose of creating a range of condensing boilers that can be considered at the very top of the market thanks to their efficiency, security and ecological performance. Inside components disposition is rational. Each component disposition has been studied to simplify and facilitate every regulation and maintenance operation. HEAT EXCHANGER The primary patented heat exchanger with Radial Shared Circulation R.S.C. is ASME approved and entirely built in stainless steel and is composed of a wet combustion chamber and of a series of water tubes, wrapped in spires of different diameters, connected top and down to two collectors, which represent the supply and return of the boiler. It can be combined with heating installations, radiant panels, radiators, fan-coils, etc.. It guarantees low pressure drops, high efficiency and ease of maintenance. COSMOMIX THE PATENTED PREMIX SYSTEM The innovative premix system used for gas condensing boilers allows an exceptional field of modulation with a ratio of 1:5. THE RADIAL SHARED CIRCULATION (R.S.C.) The central circuit and the intermediate one absorb a large quantity of heat from the flues, while the third circuit, the external one, with the “cold” return water run- ET • rd 3 ning through it, removes flues till their condensation. The advantage of this system lies in condensing with return water temperatures of 131/134°F thus obtaining very good efficiencies even with radiator installations. TE PA NT ACQUAJET - D.H.W. PRODUCTION PATENTED MICRO-TANK SYSTEM The domestic hot water production relies on the secondary heat exchanger with micro-tank. This heat exchanger, built of finned copper and stainless steel, follows the Cosmogas philosophy: “a lot of hot water at once and at a constant temperature”. The micro-tank can supply almost 4 gal/min of water instantaneously at a constant temperature, managed by the HYDROPLUS control. THE PREMIX BURNER The premix burner has a cylindrical shape and is made of a special micromesh metal fiber "Fecralloy" able to bear high temperatures. The gas and air mixture is conveyed in a controlled quantity into the burner which produces very low and perfectly balanced flames. The gas and air mixture flow is adjusted by a special electrovalve which optimizes the combustion process, with high efficiency and low CO and NOx emissions. CSG series CSG condensing “combi” boiler package provides all of your hot water needs. Its space saving wall-hung design provides high efficient space-heating of 93% AFUE as well as instantaneous domestic hot water production of over 4 gallons per minute eliminates the need for an additional hot water storage tank. All essential boiler components including the domestic hot water coil, mounted and wired circulator pump and the expansion tank are nearly enclosed in the CSG’s attractive sound attenuated cabinet. An “On Board” electronic control platform built into the boiler cabinet allows simple, yet effective control of both space-heating and domestic water settings.
