The Pro-Center Team is all set to welcome you to yet another dream holiday for Windsurfing and
Kiteboarding at Porto Pollo. This year, in addition to our reputation for maintaining high quality
standards, we have lots of new specials on offer: 200 brand new RRD boards with the newest Neil
Pryde and RRD rigs in all sizes and a large selection of kids and Kiteboarding gear. Several SUP
boards and sea kayaks are available free of charge in combination with weekly rental package
deals. Sun beds are complementary during low season. Training at all levels is under the expert
supervision of our international team of instructors. The white sandy beach around Pro-Center is
bordered by crystal clear water and is ideal for learning as well as for leisure and relaxation. If you
wish to come with your family and want to enjoy windsurfing without worrying about your kids, we
offer free supervision. Facilities at Pro-Center include: WiFi access, a beach bar and a restaurant.
Don’t miss our happy hour in the beach bar and during the weekly BBQ / Beachparty.

Perfect conditions for Beginners and Advanced-Windsurfers/Kiters
The advantageous location of the MB-Pro Center along the channel between Corsica and Sardinia, guarantees
great wind conditions for Windsurfing & Kiteboarding. We have four wind systems; the Tramontana, Maestrale,
Ponente and Scirocco which blow across both bays of Porto Pollo at wind strengths ranging from 4 to 8 Bft.: ideal
for all levels of Windsurfers/Kiters. In the morning winds are ideally suited for beginners. In the afternoon, a stronger
breeze prevails and presents exciting conditions for more radical action. During the summer, the prevailing wind is
the Ponente, with wind forces ranging between 4-8 Bft. During the autumn the Scirocco, from North Africa, typically
blowing with 5-6 Bft, can reach strengths up to 8 Bft. In addition to the wind-favorable geographical situation of
the site, the wind in the bay is also accelerated due to the narrowing of the hilly terrain around Porto Pollo. The
combination of terrain and location in the straits of Bonifacio results in exceptional windy flat water conditions. Small
waves can also be found a little further out in the bay. Furthermore, the whole family can enjoy the many activities
offered, as well as the such as beach-parties with live music and barbecues on the beach.

The waterstart is a required skill to
progress further into funboard!
Go full steam ahead!
Our windsurfing lessons are organized in the same way as in alpine ski schools. Groups are
put together for each level and age and are easily recognizable by the coloured lycra each
participant has to wear. The benefit of these Lycra’s is to identify all participants; during
group assembling, on the
water and especially to locate a child that may have accidentally become separated from the rest of the group. To minimize the probability of this happening, the course area on the water is marked with buoys that are easily recognizable. To
sum up, the safety of your children is our number one priority and they are well taken care
of at MB-Pro Center. We operate two lifeboats and have certified lifeguards on our team.

KITE COURSE / MB-Level-System
With kiteboarding, for safety reasons, it is
important to master some basic skills before you
begin practicing by yourself. We offer a step-bystep learning system to make sure you learn in the
safest possible way. Before signing up for a course
we kindly ask you take a level check. This will help
us assess your level and will enable us to assign
you to a course suited to you.
Course information
Course schedule: New courses start every day. On site registration have to be done one day in
advance before 5pm. All the courses we offer follow the VDWS/IKO teaching standards. Our instructors
are VDWS/IKO certified. Certificates issued by our team are valid worldwide. Skills exercises such as dry
runs are done on the beach at the kite-zone. Theory classes take place at the main Pro Center base.
Minimum requirements: to join our courses you need to be in good shape and be a good swimmer.
Kite-VDWS/IKO license: VDWS/IKO licenses can be purchased at the Pro Center office. You can
choose one of the following:
- A full VDWS/IKO certificate that includes theory, learning material, license plus accreditation of
all steps completed in the past. Price: € 54
- Upgrade of your VDWS/IKO certificate with the steps you have just completed. Price : € 20

Starting Level 3: only private lessons possible
Kiteboarding training
With a minimum of 2 (max 4) students per teacher your entry
into this fascinating sport is not only easy, you will have a maximum learning success through this intensive training at the Pro
Center! If you have already taken a kiteboarding course, or just
a trial lesson, but not reached your goal - no problem, we will
help you to get to the Level you want.! Our kite instructors are
VDWS (Association of German Water schools) or IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) tested, so you can be sure of
a professional team of instructors. All Kite-Level-Certificates issued by us are valid internationally. During the Advanced Kiteboarding training we will have a safety boat on standby in front
of the Kite Center.
Lessons
• lessons are in 60 minute intervals.
• The 6 hours Basic course will be carried out usually in 2/3 days
with consecutive hours per day.
• We recommend the 6 hour Basic Package (1 or 2) to get the
right base.
Every human being is different, one needs more, some less time
to reach their goal. Additional hours at a reduced price. All lessons starting from Kite Level 3 (Kite 3), are only possible with
a private teacher. Harness, wetsuit, life vest and helmet will be
provided by the Pro Center.
PRIVATE lessons
Package 3 - 3 or 6 hours: If you’ve already managed Level 1 and
2, we can only offer you private lessons to teach the next Level.
Again, the extra hours will be at a reduced price.

Check - In/Out - Lessons / Rental - Equipment
We kindly ask you to Check-in with a valid ID or driver’s license or
passport which will remain in our office for the duration of your lessons and/or rentals (no need for Windsurf Village clients). All equipment (Windsurf/Rigs/Kite/Wetsuit/ Harness/Lifejacket/Helmet/SUP/
Kayak/Sailing boats etc) will be issued to you by our staff, at the time
of your Check-in for your personal use.
Equipment change can be done at any time. Please ask our Staff. We
kindly ask you to Check-Out when returning the equipment.
Rental- requirement
You need to have a basic knowledge (Windsurf/Kite/Kayak/SUP/
Sailing) in order to rent our equipment. minimum requirement for
the kiteboarding rental is the IKO license Step 3K / VdWS license Step
5 (constant upwind riding), which can be obtained on site.
Liability insurance
All Windsurfing & Kite clients are insured by the Pro Center during
lessons times. Using any equipment during rental time (even the
time after the lessons). You are not insured through the Pro Center
during rental periods or after lessons for: Collisions, legal liability
claims for injury to a third party, damage to equipment of a third
party. You are required to have your own insurance. The Pro Center
does not accept liability at any time.
Equipment insurance
The Pro Center can provide you with a Kite or Windsurf equipment
insurance for damages to our rental gear upon request. Loss of the
equipment and personal injury are excluded at any time.
The IKO-VDWS kiteboarding licence:
You can make your license with us which includes: theory, teaching
materials, licence including a certificate for all steps done. € 54,Examination and registration of newly achieved steps on already
existing kite licenses € 20,-
